Hi-Dee-Ho Kitties - it's me - RUDY! with your Rudy Report! It's been such a HOT Spring that we have been having to stay inside and dream about the deck. We only got out there one time. I nommed on some cat grass and took a big drink of water. Guess what happened about 5 minutes later? If you guessed that I yakked it all up at the bottom of the stairway, you win!  Mommy says that this week might be a little better, the hots might go away and we can get back on the deck. The sad part is that when the 'rents left us to go on vacation, the catnip plant on the deck bought the farm. Now we have to start all over again with a new 'nip plant. Sigh...
Mommy is still working with our little shelter, trying to raise money so they can offer more services to the great animals that are living there until they find their forever homes. She reminds all of us how lucky we are. So many kitties, so few homes.
I hope all of you have a great week. I am still fat and sassy, big and bad and hard to diaper and handsome as ever. Oh, and modest, very, very modest.

What a couple of weeks we have had here in O Hi O! Mommy abandoned us a lot, springtime came, then it went, then it came and then it went. Mother Nature has a hard time making up her mind around here. We have catgrass and catnip growing up on the deck. We have never had catgrass before and I can report that it's nommy and we have been polite with each other, each of us waiting our turn and not getting all hissy about taking cuts. The catnip is still small and it's placed so that we can't get to it. I'll just let the 'rents believe that part for now...
In other news...guess who is just about the best boy in the world? That's right - ME!

Flat Skeezix and his Food Lady came to visit us last week and I loved and loved and loved and loved and loved and loved and loved and loved all over her! Parker was friendly, Powder made a rare appearance and let the Food Lady touch (!) her, Diamond slobbered all over her (much to Skeezix's disgust) and Puff became invisible. Here you can see us enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail. (Would you care for some fur with that ma'am?)

Here's Flat Skeezix deciding what to eat at one of our fine and classy food establishments. He decided on some fish - good choice Skeezix, too bad my 'rent didn't bring any home for me...
We were so happy we were able to meet the Food Lady and Flat Skeezix, she gives great pets and skritches. Skeezix was a little quiet - maybe it was the jet lag...

Well, well, well...it's Monday and you know what that means! It's time for me - Rudy! - to give you the Rudy report. Except for freezy cold weather, a lot of snow and the beans being all busy with the painting of the living room, there's nothing new here in my little corner of O Hi O.

I think that you eat more when it's cold outside - I know that I do! I'm chowing down in this photo and I know that the camera adds a few pounds, but geez...maybe I need to slow down just a little!

You know what else? We are going to get more snow tonight!!!

If you listen closely, you can hear the 'rents crying in the background!

Goodness gracious sakes alive! Aren't I gorgeous? Even when I'm bad, I'm good! Look at those paws, those ears, those eyes...the floof! YIKES - I'm the whole kitty package...but enough about me and my splendor. It was a wet weekend here in O Hi O. Rain and rain and rain - all of the snow is gone, just in time for more snow in a few days. At this rate I will never get out on the deck. Speaking of the deck, I have what the 'rents call "cabin fever". Every time they go upstairs I run after them and sit by the door. Then I say "meow, meow, meow, MEOW" - which, as you know, is kitty-speak for open the door! NOW! The 'rents say "No" - which, as you know, is kitty-speak for "we are too stoopid to listen to you". And if that isn't bad enough they made 15 bean soup for the weekend. What kind of stoopid food is that? Food with 15 beans in it? Does that make them cannibals? Get it? Beans eating beans??? HaHaHaHaHa! I crack me up!

Anywho...I hope you kitties are all doing well, we've about got January over with and soon Parker will be all about Valentine's Day and swooning over a certain psycho tabby. She's such a little love-sick kitty.

Mommy is leaving us to go green-paper hunting in another town for a few days. I like it when she goes for a little while, Daddy is a lot more liberal with the treats. But I will miss her giving me skritches, she knows all the good spots!

Last weekend was warm enough for all of us (except Powder) got to go out and enjoy the deck. Puff and I got furminated and as a reward we got a liberal dose of 'nip.

Mommy says she now knows where the term 'niphead originated.
Puff thought it was just like heaven must be!

Hay, Hay Hay, whatdaya' say Kitties? It's me, Rudy, with the Rudy Report. Don't I look warm and happy in that photo? July was such a great month on the deck. Fresh 'nip and long naps with the warm breezes tickling my ungroomed furs. Ahhhh... that was the life!
Now there is no deck time, as a matter of fact, the 'rents turned on the fireplace this weekend! I have to admit that was pretty awesome. You know what else is awesome? Pork Chops! And when you get little tastes of Pork Chops in front of the fireplace, it almost makes you forget the deck in July. Almost...

Kitties, have a super Monday - if your 'rents had to go back to their hunting places today, snag their favorite spot on the couch and have a long nap. Before you know it, they'll be home and doling out Temptations to you. At least I hope that's what happens.

Well hey there kitties! It's me - Rudy - with The Rudy Report. What a weekend! There was a strange, small little woofie on our porch yesterday. Seriously, he was no bigger than a snack! And his name? BooBoo! Ah-HaHaHaHaHa! He was named after what I like to give Parker! I sort of wished he would have come into the house, I would have liked to, er, ah, introduce myself! You should have seen Diamond - he was so unhappy about not getting to meet BooBoo - I thought he was going to break through the door! And the whining...jeez...
I sort of like this photo of me, it shows off my floofy tail. No one has a better tail in this home - NO ONE! And she who goes by the name of Mommy had better keep her ideas of grooming me to herself!
Oh - one more thing, I hear Parker is having a little birthday on Thursday. Big plans are in the making. She'll be celebrating eight years of Formerly Feral fun! And there is a very good reason you should stop by for her party. Mark your calendars kitties and not the furniture! HaHaHaHaHaHa! I crack me up!

Hey there kitties! Here I am with the Rudy Report! As you can see naps played a big part this weekend in O Hi O. Mommy did not try and disturb my glorious floof and Daddy made his lap available for some wicked-good snoozes. Mommy had to do some work stuff and she was a little crabilated. I purred and looked cute and then she was fine.
I have that effect on people.

Hey there kitties! it's me! Rudy with the Rudy Report. What a nice weekend we had in O Hi O! I think that the best parts were the 70 degree temperatures and the yummy food that got cooked out on the grill! We all got some chicken yesterday and we even scored some bacon from the BLT's on Saturday. Nip was liberally distributed on the deck and the 'rents were home most of the time. Parker and Puff and Powder got furminated and I got to watch. I still refuse to let Mommy groom me. Not. Gonna. Happen.
Now if you will excuse me, I am waiting on a call from my agent. Mommy says that I am so handsome that I oughta' be in pictures!

I don't know about that, but I do know lounging on the dining room table is the bomb! Have a good Monday kitties, don't forget to be nice to your beans - they seem to be a little grumpy on Mondays!

Mancat Monday - The Rudy Report

Here's my report for the week. It's hot, it sux, I have learned that laying on the dining room table in front of the fan helps keep the floof cool. We'd like to thank all of you for your suggestions about Puff's speckles - Mommy is going to wait and see what the doctor says after looking at her pictures - thanks Auntie Deb for the help! We had some nice chicken this weekend. Stir Fry is yummy! It might cool down this week and we could see our deck again! Yay! I hope you kitties have a great Monday!

All of the busy stuff going on here in O Hi O leaves me with no other option than to stay nipped. I'll be 10 years old in a few days, I might a well make the most of year 9!
