We Have A New Neighbor!
Powder: Kitties, this awful! We have a new neighbor. He has moved in with the cute little sticky bean next door. I have always liked the little sticky bean (from afar!) But now, I just don't know...she's... SOB...gone to the dogs!

Saturday Caturday - Meme
Sammy and Miles, who always make me smile :), the most wonderful Storm and the cute, young kittens, Lyra and Caesar tagged me for the "What's New With You" meme. I have to list 3 new things that are new with me and then tag some other kitties. Since I am soooooo tardy in doing this, I'm not going to tag anybody - I think everyone's done it already!
Here's what's new with me in O Hi O -
Here's what's new with me in O Hi O -
1. I ate Liver Pate! Here's my opinion of it - NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM!
2. The computer guy could not get to our house yesterday. Now he can't come till tomorrow morning. It's new for me not to be able to go and visit my friends.
3. I lost a Gizzy quilt battle to Puff. She out-cuted me! (she flings litter, then goes and looks all cute...what a scammer!)
HaHaHa! I'm the cutest of them all! And look, no litter in my paws!
ps - Hey Tommy the Meme you tagged me for is one I'd already done! Look here! But thank-you for thinking of me!

Some Fun On Friday - Artsy Catsy Style!
A few months ago Mommy ordered a kitty cell phone charm from Artsy Catsy. Since she spends all of her time traveling back and forth, back and forth, and back and forth, she never showed everykitty how pretty it is! So, after reminding her, she thought you would like to see how wonderful it is! She decided that she would hook it on her purse, that way she can see it all of the time! I am sorry that she and Daddy are so cheap that we are still using a cell phone camera. The quality could be a lot better if they would just go to a store and buy a real camera!

The photo is ME! And Mommy says that a bunch of people have commented how cool it is! It's pink and pretty and perfect, a lot like me! If you have a naked purse that needs some kitty bling, you should consider getting this - Mommy says it's like having me close to her all of the time! If you look at the photo below you can see the photo Artsy Catsy used to make my charm!
AND - they donate a portion of the fee to kitty welfare! Pretty cool, eh?

Saturday Question to Our Friends
If you have been reading my blog you may have noticed that our photos are, um, ah, AWFUL! Mommy would like to ask our pals on the internets what type of camera would be good for a middle aged, non-technical person who just wants to shoot great pics of her fur family. She's been using her phone camera till now, but knows that we deserve to be portrayed in a manner that becomes our true beauty! All suggestions would be welcomed. Our budget is modest, so please keep that in mind. Thank-you in advance. We really want to be able to show you our "true colors." We want them to "shine through!"
Smooches...Parker.

Look Who Mommy Met Today! Bob! A Cat!
As predicted, Mommy couldn't not go to the shelter in O Hi O (yeah, I know, bad grammar, but that's how I talk!). She spent the afternoon getting to know the kitties there. She can't volunteer 'till she goes through an oryintashun, but they let her meet and cuddle some fabulous felines. I just don't know how to feel about this. Daddy said that I should be happy that Mommy gave some homeless kitties a little lovin', but that's just what I don't like! The lovin' should all be for me! She's my Mommy! Mommy told Daddy that the shelter In O Hi O is way smaller than Wayside Waifs, but it was very clean and the people seemed to be taking good care of the cats. Mommy said hello to all of the feline residents, but there was one that she really got a "kitty-jones" for. That would be Bob. He's orange and has been there since 2005! The following is the shelter's description of Bob:
"Bob is a 2 1/2 old orange tiger. Bob came to our shelter with a tail injury and had to have it surgically removed. With a little time and TLC he is doing well. Bob would love to go to a new home with his best friend Cash. healing. Bob is as good as new."
Bob looks like a rumpy manx. But apparently he started life out with a tail. No one at the shelter knew if he ever had a home before. Bob was snoozing in a wicker basket when Mommy met him. She said he woke up, squinted at her and chirped "hello!" He then stood up, stretched and sauntered over to where Mommy was sitting and hopped right into her lap (her lap...sigh...). Bob has a wicked loud purr and he's a gentleman with his claws. Mommy melted and spent a long time lovin' on Bob. So everykitty, here's hoping that Bob gets a forever home very soon and that Mommy can resist his handsome and suave ways.
