It's a good day for me to show the 'rents how to relax - I've been playing with one of my 3 Blind Mice from Marvelous Melissa  and now it's time to be velcro kitty on one of the radiators. It's very, very cold  - 0 degrees! Daddy only lets Diamond outside for a few minutes because any longer than that and he would be a pupsicle!

I think the 'rents need to stay inside and cook something yummy. Maybe some HAM seasoned with catnip!

Mommy says that she has a very long list and a bad case of the 'busys' today. And Daddy is taking all of our decorations down! Our tree is being taken outside! SOB!  I was enjoying the last few weeks, I was giving Mommy relaxation lessons on the couch and now all of my hard work seems to be forgotten.
I wonder how many of you kitties are noticing the same thing - You just get the 'rents all trained and relaxed and the next thing you know they've forgotten everything you have taught them!
ps - our purrs and prayers are going to Bobbie she is very ill - please get well soon!

Just when you think you have the 'rents to yourselves for a few days you find out that there is company coming! That's right! My Uncle D. and his ladyfriend are coming to visit for a few days. I haven't seen Uncle D. since we lived in Kansas City. We all love him very much - he was always a good sitter for us when Mommy and Daddy went away. I think I am happy about this. Diamond will be very excited and Rudy is going to faint - he LOVES Uncle D.! Puff and Powder, probably not so thrilled...
I need to go and get ready, I think I need a spa treatment so I look my very best...oh wait, I always look my best! Maybe a nap, yeah, that's it, a nap!

Saturday Caturday - Powder's Autumn Funk

Every Autumn since Powder was a little kitty, she takes to hiding under the bed. Only in Autumn and only for a few weeks. She comes out to eat and use the box and to get some loving from Mommy. She will have nothing to do with Daddy and she avoids all of us.
Mommy has taken her to the VET for this and the VET says that there is nothing physically wrong with our little kitty girl. One year they even tried anti-anxiety medications.
Last Monday, Powder started her Autumn ritual again. Last Monday was also the autumnal equinox. There is nothing Mommy and Daddy can do except to wait for Powder to decide that her Autumn "funk" is finished. Even though we all know that she is physically OK, it's sad to see her seem anxious and depressed. In a week or so, she'll pop out from under the bed and be herself again. Mommy and I wanted to know if any of you have had experience with this weird phenomenon. Powder has been to three VET's for this and they all wind up just scratching their heads. So in the meantime Mommy waits for this to be over and frets about out tiny girl under the bed...

You may remember that on August 20th I celebrated my 7th birthday! You may also remember that I have a special, twisted relationship with this roguish tabbycat. Well, last week, much to my surprise, I got a little mail from him and his brothers! And he said he was my luvverboy - Swooooooon!

See me smiling? I am very happy that he remembered - I didn't care if it was late, I was just happy that he thought of me. And I was really happy that it contained a bag of 'nip in it. So Tripper, Skeezix, Mao and Rocky - Thanks for the great gift!

I was also honored last week from the handsome ginger boys across the pond, Eric and Flynn and the pretty calico gal Telsa with the I Love Your Blog award. Good Morning! How do you like my new digs? It arrived last week from the wonderful Zoolatry and I have been busy doing a little interior decorating. I have used Squiggles and Snuggles and Ham-Micks and Gizzies. If I do say so myself, it looks pretty darn wonderful!
