Who ya' callin' Popeye?

Hi ya' kitties! it's me - RUDY! with your Rudy Report! The Hots? We has them! But with my new 'do I'm much cooler than those other felines that live here. But I am worried about the 'rents. I think they are getting forgetful - they keep callin' me Popeye - that isn't my name! I know they're getting older, but you'd think they'd remember my name! I guess I 'yam who I 'yam...(you'll know that joke if you are the same age as my 'rents...).

Hi-Dee-Ho Kitties - it's me - RUDY! with your Rudy Report! It's been such a HOT Spring that we have been having to stay inside and dream about the deck. We only got out there one time. I nommed on some cat grass and took a big drink of water. Guess what happened about 5 minutes later? If you guessed that I yakked it all up at the bottom of the stairway, you win!  Mommy says that this week might be a little better, the hots might go away and we can get back on the deck. The sad part is that when the 'rents left us to go on vacation, the catnip plant on the deck bought the farm. Now we have to start all over again with a new 'nip plant. Sigh...
Mommy is still working with our little shelter, trying to raise money so they can offer more services to the great animals that are living there until they find their forever homes. She reminds all of us how lucky we are. So many kitties, so few homes.
I hope all of you have a great week. I am still fat and sassy, big and bad and hard to diaper and handsome as ever. Oh, and modest, very, very modest.

AAAAaaaaahhhhhh!

Oh boy kitties! It rained here and the hots went packin'! It's so nice to have the windows open and to smell the breezes through the screen. The 'rents are happy and we all are enjoying the cooler temps.
I need to patrol the windows and doors for introoders - you never know what the nicer weather might bring!

Goodness, Gracious, Great Balls of Fire kitties...it's me, RUDY!, with your Rudy Report! I can sit on the dining room table and not get in trouble, I can give Mommy the love eyes and I can beg for a treat. I can just sit here and not mention the HOTS that now live here in O Hi O.
I will not tell you how hot it is here, but I can tell you that the 'rents are UBER cranky, even with AC.
I guess that's why that's all I have to say today, except that I hope you kitties are being cool. See ya!

Oh hi there! It's me, RUDY! with the Rudy Report. My goodness, the HOTS came back with an attitude and all I want to do is stay where it's cool and nap the days away. So, what that means is when it cools down at night I get all frisky and run around like a nut. The 'rents love it! No, really, they love it! HaHaHaHaHa!
I am so glad that our computer is working again - I missed you guys!

Flying Fur

Hi kitties, how are you? I'm going pretty good - hangin' on the dining room table and catching the breeze of our fan. It feels great with all of the hots going on. Mommy says that I need an UBER brushing - something about my furs flying all over the house! I'm pretty sure that it isn't just my furs, there are plenty of furry suspects in this house. It is supposed to be a little cooler and if it is we will all go on the deck for a Furminator Fest! Well, all of us except Rudy, he'll just watch.

Nom Nom Nom...Oh Hey kitties! Rudy! here with your Rudy Report! Puff told you yesterday how boring it is here and how we just hung around watching the 'rents be uber boring. She was right, they were boring and we had to listen to them complain about the hots. I have started to make my own fun, can you guess what I have been doing? No? Well let me show you -

Pretty cool eh? I've been working on this for about a month and I'm pretty pleased with my progress. Mommy says it may be clippy claws time...

The Rudy Report

Hey there kitties! It's me - RUDY! with your Rudy Report! The 'rents are home! They are sunburned! They are tired! They are happy to see us and we are happy to see them! I guess the Cubs that they went to see won the game of ball that they were playing and it made the 'rents very happy. The seats that Mommy got for them to sit in were in the what is called the "Bleacher Seats" and if the sun is shining it can get very hot. It is not a good idea to sit in bleacher seats when you are very pale and forgot to wear any sunblock. Mommy looks a lot like a beet. I don't care what she looks like, I am just glad she and Daddy are home!
We have a surprise for you this week! Mommy met a wonderful lady last April at Blogpaws who has an awesome store and the lady sent us a box of goodies to have a giveaway with! Trust me, you don't want to miss out on entering our contest. More on that later this week.
The hots have landed in O Hi O with a vengeance! No deck time for us and Daddy has to spend a lot of time keeping his "maters" and other plants watered so they don't shrivel up and die. We spend a lot of time in the cool house taking naps. Mommy needs to help us catch up on what's been going on in the blogoshere. So, what have you been doing? We sure have missed you!

Hoo-Wee kitties! It sure is hot here in O Hi O! It's me, Rudy! with your Rudy Report. It was so hot here that I didn't even feel like being a menace! As you can see I was on the deck, but not for a long time. It was better to be inside and a little cooler. We were all bored and we didn't get a lot of time to play with Mommy because she had to go into work. AND they are leaving us again!!! Those awful suitcases are out and I heard the 'rents talking about going to see some Cubs play. Why would they go see some Cubs play when they can watch us kitties do that right here???

Howdy Kitties!

When you are in the grip of the hots the best thing to do is lay around the living room by the air conditioner. So that's what I did kitties...I napped and purred and practiced my cute looks. The photo is a little demonstration of the "love-eyes, wouldn't you like to snuggle me" look. This has taken me a decade to perfect and I must say it comes in handy if I have been less-than-a-good-boy by chasing Puff or stealing Parker's 'Nip Cigar!

Not that I was doing any of that or anything...

The Hots Are Back

Yesterday was such a nice day in O Hi O. Mommy took me out on the deck and she furminated a little Mini-Me off of me. It's a good thing that she did it yesterday 'cause the Hots came back and we won't get any deck time. I feel a lot lighter!

Easy Like Sunday

We lost all of our electricity this morning. There was a bad car crash that made it happen. We hope that the beans that were in the accident are OK.
I had a lot of fun on the deck yesterday. Here I am going back in the house after an afternoon of nipping and napping.

The hots really did a number on our plants. Luckily there was plenty of leaves left to let us all have some fun. Diamond even ate a few leaves. He didn't see what all of the fuss was about...

There is some chicken marinating in the fridge, Daddy is going to be the BBQ king today! YUM!
