Hey there kitties! it's me! Rudy with the Rudy Report. What a nice weekend we had in O Hi O! I think that the best parts were the 70 degree temperatures and the yummy food that got cooked out on the grill! We all got some chicken yesterday and we even scored some bacon from the BLT's on Saturday. Nip was liberally distributed on the deck and the 'rents were home most of the time. Parker and Puff and Powder got furminated and I got to watch. I still refuse to let Mommy groom me. Not. Gonna. Happen.
Now if you will excuse me, I am waiting on a call from my agent. Mommy says that I am so handsome that I oughta' be in pictures!
I don't know about that, but I do know lounging on the dining room table is the bomb! Have a good Monday kitties, don't forget to be nice to your beans - they seem to be a little grumpy on Mondays!

We don't have a furminator here... so I am lucky I guess! Though, mom has talked about getting one!
We fink dat you should re-think the furminator thing with youz momma. If you get all matted and messy you could end up yike some of da shaved kitties we've seen this summer...yech!

Rudy, you don't know what you are missing. We have got a furminator and it is like the best ever back scritches. We have got two Zoom Grooms too and sometimes mum uses them both together so she does both sides of us. That is like a wonderful massage. Flynn didn't like being groomed, but even he loves it now. Another good thing is that I don't have to yak up those nasty old hairballs. I used to get around two a week now maybe just once a month.

You need to be careful matey, I dont like to be groomed either and mum takes me once a year to get my furs cuts. You dont want that to happen..Every year I say ok I will get groomed , but nooo. I dont like it.

I have only recently come around to the Furminator. For months I would head for the hills, and then one night I stayed still long enough for mum to get a mini-Suey off me. :)

i say give furmination a try. my boy theo used to want no part of it but lately he allows it for about 20 seconds and actually seems to enjoy it during that time.

Hi Rudy. Sounds like a great weekend! You really are a handsome mancat! Only the shorthaired kitties here used to like to be groomed, but Fuzzy so loves to be cuddled, that he reluctantly agreed to being furminated while on Meowmy's lap...and now he really likes it! Gingy goes in for a little bit of furmination now, too, and the other day when she was outside, Meowmy ran her fingers over and over through Gingy's fur and released huge clouds of floof. Maybe the birdies will make nests from it....
Nice report Rudy. Yes, we've noticed that mom usually seems a bit cranky on monday mornings. We do what we can to improve the mood.

Rudy, the furminator is the da bomb! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!. I will come and be furminated if you don't want to be! But other than that what a gorgeous weekend you had!
My Mom and Dad brush me sometimes. I like it better than going to the big grooming place. But, to each his own. :)

Mom doesn't furminate me cuz it doesn't do any good. I really don't shed very much and she is confused because I have such a dense coat (like most Manxies I have a double coat) ... but hey I'm with you about hangin out on the dining room table, that's where I get the best sun in the morning! Are you gonna replace Paula Abdul on AI next season? I think you're agent will be able to get you signed!

Rudy yoo and Trooder has sumfin in common - the mom wants to brush hims and he says Not.Gonna.Happen. too! She did find dis glove(it looks like da plastic playtex washin gloves) wif a brush material on it to pet/brush hims wif and it works PLUS the mom is happy acuz his teefs and claws dun hurt her!
It's supposed to be 70 here tomorrow...but rainy. Yuck! Bacon sounds yummy...
