The Rudy Report

Tja kitties! It's me - RUDY! with your video Rudy Report! What you see in this video is our very first time on the deck in 2011. History being made! Parker, Powder and I all have a speaking role. Parker checks out a dead leaf and loves on our lounge chair, oh, and she chases Puff. Me? I'm just being my adorable self. You'll laugh, you'll cry at the injustice of Puff being forced out of the shot and you'll marvel at Mommy's mad film-shooting skillz.
So what else is new? WE FINALLY ORDERED A NEW COMPUTER! It isn't here yet, the Dell beans are saying that we will have it on May the 4th. It only took Mommy six months to make up her mind. Hopefully this old machine we are using will last another few weeks - and hopefully Mommy can figure out how to use the new one.
The flowers are blooming and we are all enjoying open windows and doors. I hope you are having a groovy day. Keep those tails high kitties!

Hard to believe that this is our wonderful deck. Where we get catnip and sunny naps...The storm was not a lot of fun and we are still digging out. Come-on Spring!

The Rudy Report

HiDeHo HiDeHay kitties! It's me - RUDY! with your Rudy Report! Seeing me chow down really makes the 'rents happy. I was supposed to go and see Dr. Wendy today for my final Hemobartinollis check, but the appointment got moved to this Friday. Yay! Mommy is sure I have gained back all of the weight that I lost and I really seem to be back to my ol' orange menace self. Do you know what I did this weekend (besides eat)? I jumped up on the dining room table and almost made a big mess. The 'rents put a red tablecloth on the table and I forgot about that. When I jumped the tablecloth slid and I almost made everything on the table come crashing down, including a Pepe LaPew cookie jar that my Mommy is pretty fond of. oops... it was a good thing that Mommy was sitting there to grab it or I would have been in a bit of a pickle.
Here in God's deep freeze we are supposed to get about a foot or two of snow tonight. This is the time of year when the 'rents get a little cabin fever and start talking about how nice it would be to see a little springtime in the air. I know I'd like to see a little deck time and some fresh catnip. But, I am afraid that's a few months off. So in the meantime, I'll keep chowing down. One last thing kitties -

Sweet, Sweet Memories...

Hi kitties, woulda' look at me in this photo? Gentle warm breezes and the sweet sun on my furs...
I'd like to feel those things today but that's not going to happen.
But a little kitty can dream, can't she?
So on this Sunday I will be napping and dreaming sweet dreams of summer.
January can be a very long month.

Here is the nearest book to the computer. It's a very old copy of J.D. Salinger's Catcher in The Rye. It is Mommy's favorite book ever. She even has a first edition of it! here is what is says on page 123 - the 3 sentences after the 5th one;
"In a way, it was sort of depressing, too, because you kept wondering what the hell would happen to all of them. When they got out of school and college, I mean. You figured most of them would probably marry dopey guys. Guys that always talk about how many miles they get to a gallon in their goddam cars. Guys that get sore and childish as hell if you beat them at golf, or even some stupid game like ping-pong."
Mommy says that Holden Caufield was one of the sweetest characters she ever got the pleasure to know in a story.
