Tattle Tail Tuesday

What's this?
A business card? MY business card?

Isn't that cool? I have my very own business card! Mommy had them made because she's going to Blogpaws on Saturday to see what's new in the world of blogging and maybe meet some of our friends! I am not going with her, I need to stay home and snoopervise Daddy while he plants more flowers. So kitties, do me a favor if you are going to be there - watch for the lady in a white T-shirt that has my face on it, it will be my Mommy and she would love to meet you. She's looking forward to hearing Skeezix and Tripper's mom speak!

Tattle Tail Tuesday - I Spy

Daddy has been saying a lot of bad words this past week about what I spy with my little eyes outside of our dining room table.
Our beautiful Christmas tree has been waiting for the recycling people to take it for over two weeks. Daddy says that if they don't pick it up tomorrow, he's going to call the city beans and maybe say some more bad words to them.
And trust me kitties, they really don't want that to happen!

Graphics and Tid-bits and Memes - Oh My!

We're starting today by thanking Zoolatry for this UBER-cool graphic!

Those great kiddos over at the Furry Bambinos tagged us for the "Seven Useful Things" Meme. Did you hear me? They tagged ALL of us!
If I were you, I'd grab a cup of coffee and relax 'cause this may take a while! We discussed who gets to go first and I was all "let's draw catnip stems, shortest stem goes last...," but nooooooo, Mommy says that we have to go from the most senior pets to the youngest. Which means I am last. So - Puff and Powder; you two get to go first!
Thanks Parker!
1. We taught Daddy how to love kitties.
2. We can function as bookends on the coffee table.
3. We are the official taste testers for fresh catnip.
4. We keep the carpet held down on the steps so no one trips on it.
5. We are paper weights on Sundays - the paper never blows away around us!
6. We always test the bathroom water before Mommy drinks it.
7. If Mommy or Daddy needs their lap filled, we're their kitties!
Rudy's turn!
1. I am a seat warmer. I do this well.
2. Need something eaten? A bug? A potato chip? Your pen? I'm your guy!
3. You say you need something hissed at? Have no fear, I am here!
4. I am the bean-greeter, I've never met a bean I don't like!
5. I am the giver of the best love-eyes to Mommy.
6. I provide exercise to Puff, Powder and Rudy by chasing them.
7. I keep Mommy from having high blood pressure by purring in her ear.
Diamond - MYTURNMYTURNMYTURN!
1. I'm the home security system, I keep the lady in the bloo shorts from stealing our stuff.
2. Squirrels will never invade our home with me here.
3. I am the kitty referee, I break fights up here all of the time!
4. I've been known to give pony rides to them too.
5. I am a very good walking partner.
6. I'm your go-to guy when a guest needs their crotch sniffed.
7. If Daddy's hands gets bored, I am always there to let his hands get busy and pet me.
Parker - It's about time!
1. New kitty food that needs testing? I'm so there!
2. I always get into bed and warm up Daddy's pillow for him
3. I alert Daddy with my sweet meow when it't treat time.
4. I snoopervise and approve all of Mommy's sock choices out of the dresser drawer.
5. I am a great provider of smoochies. Anytime, anywhere.
6. I am also a great snuggle provider, it's a specialty of mine.
7. No one kills feathers better than me!
We are pretty sure everyone has been taggd for this Meme, but if you haven't been tagged yet, you are now!

Thursday 13 - Potpourri

We think that the snow is finished for the year. I will not miss it.
I joined Phi Theta Gatos!

There is a photo of Vishus Deer where Mommy works! Right outside the cafe!

Diamond will be in a book soon! He's a featured pet in Shelter Stories from Mutt's creator Patrick McDonnell! The book will come out on May 5th. We are so excited!

It was a year ago this week that Mommy first started flying to O HI O.

AND driving to O Hi O! (we didn't come to O Hi O till August)

We continue to enjoy (and fight over) the 'nip on our deck!

And...........

Daddy still insists on putting hats on us!

Oh! Oh! Oh! One more thing! Please! I would also like to ask that you go here and don't vote for me!

Saturday Caturday - Complete With More Snow!

Here we are all 'nipped out and sunbathing last August. Doesn't this look wonderful and warm?
Here's what I am looking at out of my window this morning. In March.
Bah... This kitty is going back to bed...

Thoughts on Thursday

"Paging Dr. Parker, paging Dr. Parker...STAT!"
Have I mentioned how much I love Zoolatry? We found this photo in our inbox and it made Mommy laugh! Mommy needed to laugh too 'cause this is a very stressful week at work. The JCAHO beans have been at her hunting place all week and she comes home very tired (and a little cranky!) So thank-you Mama Zoolatry, your Rx. for Mommy really did the trick!
AND we are going to be abandoned next week! Yup, Mommy and Daddy are going to go to Chicago for her job and leaving us here with a sitter. I'm not very happy about this. Not at all! I know our sitter and she is very nice, but I'm not sure she'll let me sleep on her head like Daddy does. They will be gone for three whole days and that's a long time with no head to sleep on!
Have you voted in the Simply Siamese Spring Contest? You should go check it out. There are many wonderful entries, including three from this SICK OF WINTER family. Here are Powder's, Puff and Rudy's and mine. We are not great poets, but we are very sincere!
One last shameless plug - I have entered the Spay Day contest that The Humane Society of the United States is sponsoring. Would you go and vote for me? You have to search for me and you can do it by name. So far, I am the only cat named Parker in the contest. Just click here. Thanks!
We are getting another huge snow storm tomorrow...I am not allowed to repeat what Mommy said about that. It was on my extra-bad word list, my cute little kitty ears have been extra-assaulted! AND we had an ice storm two days ago. The fun never stops here in O Hi O!
Have a day full of fun and purrs everykitty and please pray for our kitty friends who are sick and need our love. Read more about that at The Cat Blogosphere.

Rain, Rain, Go Away! PLEASE!

Waiting for rescue in Findlay, Ohio
Mommy wanted to let you know that we are OK and there has been no flooding at our home. A lot of our friends and neighbors have not been as fortunate. Two nearby towns have been devastated by the rain. Many roads are impassable. Please say a little kitty prayer for all of the people and animals who have been affected - here in O Hi O and everywhere else.

Thursday Thirteen - O Hi O Edition

I ask you, how cool is this???

There are a lot of new things here in O Hi O that I have experienced. Here are thirteen of them
  1. I get to go outside! On our deck! Supervised!
  2. The windowsills are very wide, this makes for great naps in the windows
  3. The squirrels here are black! I've only seen brown and gray ones before - very cool
  4. Mommy is home every single night!
  5. Fresh Step Cat Crystals are very hard to find. This makes Mommy mad!
  6. Lace curtains. I will not snag them. I will not snag them. I will not snag them.
  7. Thundering Herds of Elephants is at a whole new level.
  8. They sell Cool Claws here. Yummy!
  9. Rudy has been very calm. We think it's all the room.
  10. B.B.Q.? Nope. Not even kinda'.
  11. I can supervise in the kitchen without getting stepped on, I have my own spot!
  12. The living room has enough windows for every one of us at once!
  13. We have Buckeyes in our yard. Mommy doesn't like that. She keeps yelling "Go Blue!" I don't get that one...Daddy says she's going to be very unpopular this fall.

Thursday 13 Edition 4 - Some Random Shots of Our New Home

We are still having a ball, we are exploring and sniffing and playing! I have found a few special windows to look at the birdies outside. Mommy unpacked my toys and I am so happy to be able to play with my fake mousies, I missed them a lot. I have been batting them around and leaving them in great places for Mommy and Daddy to step on and freak out! It's tons of fun! There are still boxes all over the place and Mommy and Daddy work late into the night to try and get things all organized. They say it won't be long till things are normal and we can relax and have some fun. We use our boxes and we are being the best kitties ever. Mommy says we can have a big party in a few weeks and invite every kitty over! Wanna' come?

Better Living Through Chemicals

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
We made it. We are tired. We are VERY GLAD we took drugs. 11 hours is a long time for a kitty to be in a kennel in a vehicle. We have already eaten, drank and, uh, you know....used the box!
More later.ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Updating From The Roasterie - Our V.E.T. Visit

Mommy here - No "innernet" is awful. We have a weak signal at our home, but it takes a "squillion" years to go from page to page, we read your blogs, but no commenting. I took Parker and her sibs to the V.E.T. Friday for their last wellness checks and to be evaluated for medications to travel. Since the drive is so long the decision was made to use medication. We are using a combination of a sedative and a pain killer. It's given via liquid through a syringe toward the cheek so it is absorbed by swallowing and through the tissue in the mouth. The sedative lasts about 6 hours and then the pain killer provides a calming effect for an additional 4-6 hours. By then we should be at our destination.
Parker asked that I show them being tortured Friday. Who am I to refuse?
Here's the best kitty vet clinic in the world.

Waiting for the doctor.
Not happy, not happy at all.

Rudy wants everyone to know he does not at all mind being in a PINK P.T.U.

Puff is not amused. Not even a little bit.

She's even less amused getting her Fpl/Uri Intranasal Vaccine

Parker is getting skritchies here, she's really having fun, not the least bit upset - she bounced out of the P.T.U. and started to flirt with everyone!
All four kids are healthy and fine. AND they have all dropped a little weight, the diet is working! They are a little un-nerved at all of the activity in the house. We will be fine - and Henry Helton, we're gonna be neighbors! Exit 83 off of I-75 is VERY close to where we will be living in O Hi O!
I don't think any of the kitties will be waving at you though, I think they will be taking some serious cat naps!
Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. We'll see you later, now back to our chaos that is currently in progress.
