Snowy Deck

Hard to believe that this is our wonderful deck. Where we get catnip and sunny naps...The storm was not a lot of fun and we are still digging out. Come-on Spring!

Easy Like Sunday ...

...started Saturday night. The 'rents left the coziness of our home on Saturday morning for a snowy fun-filled day of getting a new muffler and brake system on the car and then they shopped for furniture for the living room. I thought that they were crazy - it was wicked bad out there! But off they went and when they returned I was ready to snuggle and help get them all warm again. And the thanks I get for this unselfish gesture? I get a picture of me and my beautiful blue eye all laser-ee!

See kitties? Would you go out in this?

Photo Hunters - Aftermath

I've been in two very big storms in my life. The first photo was after a very awful ice storm in Kansas City. We had no power for a week. It was very cold.

This was a windstorm last Spring.
Roy was smart to wear a hat - you never know what might fall and hit you on your noggin!

My Thoughts On Autumn Weather

You know what kitties? I like cooler weather. I love the radiators being on, I love the fireplace (when I can get near it) and I love the snuggling with the 'rents. The Autumn leaves and colors are beautiful, you can nap and dream about the turkey that will be cooked in the not so distant future. Yup, I like cooler weather. However...
I believe Diamond gives all of you readers my perspective on having it snow so early in the season. (That's right, he's taking a pee-pee!)

Now, on to something warm and wonderful...

Mopey Mancat Monday

Easy Like Sunday

We had over a foot of snow yesterday. There were times it was hard to see out of the window because it was snowing and blowing very hard. It was awful. This is me checking out the white stuff this morning. Brrrrrrrrrrr! There isn't a lot about this Sunday that is easy!

We were very bored because Blogger was acting up. We could not get on our blog or go and visit anyone. So Powder and I played Queen of the Bookcase.

I won.

If you look at my post from yesterday, you can see that it looked much different last August.
And to make matters worse, Mommy and Daddy are leaving us tomorrow for three days! We have a wonderful sitter who will stay with us, but we are still gonna' miss Mommy and Daddy! March is a very cruel month!

Bored Cats On Tuesday

We're having a big snowstorm that started late yesterday afternoon. We are all bored, bored, bored! Here's some of the things we've been doing to amuse ourselves while it snows...
Puff enjoys playing hide the 'nip Ravioli under MY Gizzy...(it's MY Gizzy...MINE, MINE, MINE!)
Mommy sent a photo of me and her thumb to Wozog for a cat tournament! I wasn't overly impressed because it was her thumb and not her treat-holding fingers!
We made Diamond wear one of Daddy's hats. He's not much into hats so Daddy had to help.
He's not much into snow either. This photo was taken before it got heavy. We are going to get about another five inches today. We got about three inches last night. Diamond does not like to be in the snow and Daddy will probably have to shovel a doggy path for him. Whatta' sissy dog!
But we are all warm and safe and sound. We are thankful for that.
And I have a Valentine! The colorful and always interesting Tripper has asked me and I said yes...I just hope it isn't some type of trap!

Tattletale Tuesday

Diamond Paw Prints

We got a lot of snow in O Hi O this weekend. Diamond does not like snow. As you can see, Daddy had to shovel a path for him outside so he could, well, you know... Anyway, tattletale Tuesday is about Diamond this week. He's a wussy dog who doesn't like the snow and has to get Daddy to shovel the back yard before he'll go out to, well, you know!
AND Mommy has two deer in the kitchen! They haven't moved for over a week. I think they are not vishus deer. I'm keeping my eye on them just in case! I'm also thinking about climbing our tree. So are my siblings. AND later this week I am going to tell you about the HAM! Cookies that Mommy made for us. It's a very interesting story...
Well, I've tattled long enough, I need to go keep an eye on those deer!

And my good friends Abby, Boo, Jinx, Ping and Gracie won the Piggy and Stocking Auction for Project HAM! Tomorrow the piggy is going to make a trip down south to his forever home! Isn't that exciting? AND - don't tell them, but there's a surprise in the box too! I love surprises! Stay warm and dry today - we are supposed to get another 6-8 inches of snow in O Hi O!
