My Cigar Prize!

I won a contest a few weeks ago over at the great Meowers From Missouri blog! The prize was a YEOW Catnip cigar - I could hardly wait for the lady in the bloo shorts to deliver it to me! Well...last weekend it arrived!

See? It's for me!

Tattle Tail Tuesday - Puff

Puff: Here's a tip - don't make my mommy mad...

Whoo-Boy kitties, Mommy doesn't get on a rant too often, but yesterday she went to town! She got into a discussion at her work place about spaying and neutering pets. A lady was talking about her kitty that had just had a litter of kittens (her fourth litter!) and how she was concerned that they would not be able to find homes for the new kittens. Mommy asked the lady if she had ever considered spaying her cat to prevent this from happening again. (Insert crickets chirping here...). Apparently spaying a cat in this lady's opinion would cost too much. (Insert more Crickets chirping)...
Mommy took a deep breath and proceeded to educate this lady on the cost of not spaying her kitty. AND went on to give her the facts about letting her kitty roam around outside. I won't give you the gory details about what Mommy really wanted to say to this lady, but I will tell you that Mommy has offered to pay to have the lady's kitty spayed as soon as the kittens are weaned.
I hope the lady takes Mommy up on her offer. I know I was a "loose kitty" before I came to live with our 'rents, but I have to say that there are too many unloved and unwanted cats in this world to stay quiet when beans don't consider the consequences of not spaying and neutering!

To all of you beans reading this - don't be silent - speak up for us 'cause we can't bean-speak for ourselves!

~The number 1 most important beauty tip I know is keeping a clean machine!

Powder may be a tiny girl, but no one messes with her when it's time for breakfast! It's just best to let the little lion eat unless you want a teensy-tiny early morning smack-down!

Friday Fun

I gotta' admit that Puff is a beauty, but I also have to say that I got the better shady spot last evening on the deck. What was fun about this was that I had 3 leaves of catnip hidden under my tummy! Puff had none!
So Puff - Neener, Neener Neener!!! If I could, I'd even blow some raspberries her way! Here's hoping all of you kitties have a fun and fabulous Friday!

The fun kitties at The Kitty Krew and Crew's Views tagged my Mommy for a meme - it took a little while to for her to agree to join in - but I kept asking nicely with my love eyes, and she cannot say no to the love eyes!

Hi kitties, Parker's female 'rent here, and I am going to show you a few photos of me!

Here's my shadow at Lake Tahoe!
Here I am in my car at a stop sign in O Hi O.

And here I am in Kindergarten - 5 years old!

Now for the facts -

I am bad at math and that's why there are 3 photos of me and 7 facts!

My career is in health care at a very big hospital. I help beans feel better.

I was VERY allergic to kitties until I was about 19 years old.

I was a vegetarian until 5 years ago when I was diagnosed with Diabetes. It's very hard to be Diabetic AND a vegetarian. I couldn't stop being Diabetic, so I had to stop being a vegetarian. Now Parker's male 'rent calls me the "world's guiltiest carnivore".

I was adopted when I was 6 weeks old - I never knew the people who gave me up, but that's OK with me. I was very fortunate to have been adopted by the world's best parents! I am also an only child. It's safe to say I was a little spoiled growing up!

I enjoy both Shakespeare and Southpark.

Someday the other 'rent and I would like to live in Colorado, maybe Southpark : )

The Rudy Report

Hey there kitties! it's me! Rudy with the Rudy Report. What a nice weekend we had in O Hi O! I think that the best parts were the 70 degree temperatures and the yummy food that got cooked out on the grill! We all got some chicken yesterday and we even scored some bacon from the BLT's on Saturday. Nip was liberally distributed on the deck and the 'rents were home most of the time. Parker and Puff and Powder got furminated and I got to watch. I still refuse to let Mommy groom me. Not. Gonna. Happen.
Now if you will excuse me, I am waiting on a call from my agent. Mommy says that I am so handsome that I oughta' be in pictures!

I don't know about that, but I do know lounging on the dining room table is the bomb! Have a good Monday kitties, don't forget to be nice to your beans - they seem to be a little grumpy on Mondays!

Easy Like Sunday

We lost all of our electricity this morning. There was a bad car crash that made it happen. We hope that the beans that were in the accident are OK.
I had a lot of fun on the deck yesterday. Here I am going back in the house after an afternoon of nipping and napping.

The hots really did a number on our plants. Luckily there was plenty of leaves left to let us all have some fun. Diamond even ate a few leaves. He didn't see what all of the fuss was about...

There is some chicken marinating in the fridge, Daddy is going to be the BBQ king today! YUM!

Here we were back in April when it was cool and the breezes felt good on our furs. I miss that weather. At the end you can see me keeing a clean machine!

Advice From Diamond...

I won the raffle that cute little Hansel and Telsa had! They don't call me Miss Luckypants for nothin'! The man in the bloo shorts brought it to my door last week!

I could hardly believe my eyes! The most beautiful treat jar you could ever wish for!

It came with yummy treats and a very pretty necklace for Mommy!

The Coast Is Clear...

I pulled the short straw and had to check to make sure all of the strange beans had left our house this morning...slowly I walk...

What The Weekend Holds...

Hi kitties. Weekends are usually something we kitties look forward to here in O Hi O. This weekend is no different. The 'rents are home and proper attention is given to our kitty selves. But yesterday, strange people came over and helped to clean the whole house - they even brought extra vacuums! It was awful! Why did they do this to us? I'll tell you - tonight there is a big dinner party at our house - all kinds of new beans will be here invading our space!

Not happy, not happy at all!

The hots are back too - no deck! And Mommy has to go give some bean baby a shower tomorrow. I tell you what kitties, I hope next weekend has better plans than this one does...

So, you know what kitties? Staycations are the bomb. I had Mommy home with me for 5 days! You would think that we would have a lot of photos showing what we did. But really what happened was a whole lot of snuggle time, a whole lot of play time, a whole lot of making "love eyes" at each other time, a whole lot of treats and hide and seek and grooming and...well...you get the idea. The camera, the phone, the lists of things to do - there weren't any of that. Just relaxing and enjoying some time with each other.
Sometimes we just need to do that with the 'rents. It does their hearts (and ours) good.

The Rudy Report

It's Monday! But I think you know that...those boomies on Saturday night were no fun. Diamond barked and barked and barked. Needless to say, we kitties were all very tired yesterday. It was a very pretty day, not too hot, very sunny and there was a gentle breeze. The 'rents took pity on us and let us go out on the deck for a few hours. Here we are all relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet.

We napped and napped and napped. I think we needed a day to recover from all of the holiday noise and stress.

Mommy is home for one more staycation day - we are going to try to get her to let us on the deck again. I hope the hots stay away!
