Remember this from a few weeks ago?
Well Daddy got busy and fixed our screen.
No more holes in the screen! Daddy is pretty handy with fixing stuff, we had to promise that there would be no more holes placed in that screen by bad kitties. Not that he had to tell me of course. I would never do such a bad thing! Parker: "Yeah... right... you guilty orange menace..."

Easy Like Sunday - Puff

There may be football on the TV, but there is nothing easier than some quality time on the deck for Puff. Here she is enjoying the lovely Indian Summer we are having in O Hi O. We hope all of you kitties have a wonderful and easy Sunday!

Little Stories From The Past

This is a very VERY old photo of Mommy and the kitty who started it all. I have told you about T-Gray before. You can read his whole story in two parts, here and here.

Mommy was still in undergraduate school living with her roomates in this picture. She and T-Gray were still getting to know each other as he had only been with her for a few days, yet Mommy was smitten with that kitten! Later in the evening on the very day this photo was taken, Mommy learned the importance of having a screen for the fireplace because curious kittens love to walk into the fireplace in the middle if the night after the fire has died. Then they like to walk all over the house with ashy paws.

T-Gray learned that same night that he did not enjoy baths...

Mommy learned that kitten claws are very sharp and so are little kitten teeth!

They both learned that love is really all you need.

One of Diamond's most favorite toys is a "Sock Monkey" - it is made of one of Daddy's old socks with a squeaky toy inside of it. Just tie a knot at the end of the sock and there you have it!

He will play tug-of-war, fetch, toss in the air and he will even wear it as a hat!
Which is why I am glad I'm a cat!

The Rudy Report

Hi-De-Ho kitties! Rudy here with The Rudy Report. I had such a great weekend! It was just us guys - me and Daddy and Diamond watched football and Daddy played laser tag with me - you can see how good I am at trying to catch it.
No matter how hard I tried, I could not catch it - I think it was because Diamond kept getting his big doggie-butt in the way!

No matter, it was fun trying! Mommy and the girls spent time in the kitchen making foods for Daddy to eat while we watched football on TV! (I got to taste a little sausage, it was yummy!)
All in all it was a great way to spend the last weekend of summer!

Easy Like Sunday

Diamond and Rudy have decided that since it's a rainy day in O Hi O the very best thing to do is stay cozy and nap on the couch. We left a little room if you'd like to join us! Diamond gets to keep the pillow though...

Meow Like A Pirate Day!

My New Collar

I felt like showing off my new collar today. Mommy got it from Feline Fido and she got new collars for Rudy and Puff too! See the pretty Tabby cats on mine? Puff got a pink Royal Kitty collar and Rudy got a brown Spay and Neuter collar.
We really like them!

Thankful Thursday

Hi there, Powder here to tell you why today is thankful Thursday for me and my family here in O Hi O. Last week we were all very worried because Mommy had to have her insides checked to make sure that she was healthy. Everyone was so kind, sending purrs and prayers that she would be OK. You know what kitties? She is! We got the great news that everything is OK. We are so thankful that Mommy is B-9! W00-Hoo!

Waz'sup' kitties? Here it is, your Rudy report...

Well, as most of you know, we had a nap-fest with Mommy this weekend. That was pretty cool and I hate to see her go back to her hunting place today. But I'm glad she feels better and can go earn some green papers to keep us in Temptations! But guess what? Daddy caught a terrible cold on Saturday and he's all sneezy. His sneezes are not as cute as our kitty ka-choos are, (and his are a lot more gooey - eww!)
You know what else? Some kitty has been very, very bad. Look at this screen on our porch door!
Terrible, isn't it? Replacing the screen was on Daddy's to-do list yesterday, but he felt so rotten that he's going to have to wait 'till next week. I am told that here in the good ol' US of A that you have a right to remain silent if you are accused of a crime. So, that's what I am going to be...silent. And I also hear that you are innocent until proven guilty. So that's what I am, innocent. And there is no proof, no photos that I am the kitty who has commited the crime against the screen door.
I do remain on house arrest. Sigh...

Easy Like Sunday For Some of Us

Honestly kitties, Mommy has taken more naps than I have this weekend! I think she's part cat! You can't see it very well, but we all got new collars and mine has pretty tabby cats on it. It's very chic and cool!

Saturday Caturday - Puff

Hi! Puff here to give you a Mommy update. We are all very grateful for all of the purrs and prayers for Mommy. Thanks from the bottom of our little kitty hearts! Those purrs and prayers are very powerful because Mommy is home and the doctor thinks that things look very promising! They won't know for certain for a few days but we are hopeful that the doctor is right! We have been busy with nursing duties around the clock. It's a good thing that there are four of us, we take shifts and that ensures that Mommy is never without one of us to keep her calm and relaxed while she recovers. Diamond has been a great nurse-woofie and will not leave her side. And Daddy? Well they don't make better beans than our Daddy, Mommy says that he is the best husband that a gal could ask for!
Things are getting back to normal here in O Hi O and we are glad for normal!

I Am Asking For A Huge Big Favor

Hi there everybuddy...

Back in February of this year Mommy had a health scare. Today she has to go back in to the hospital for another look around her insides. I have a big, huge favor to ask of you kittes and my NOMS pals. Could you send a little purr or prayer to us in O Hi O? We know the power of positive thoughts and prayers and we sure could use them now.

I may not be able to visit for a little while but I will keep you updated when I can.

Oops I Ate It Award

Honestly kitties, I have never lifted a morsel off of the 'rents plates. I have been known to sit politely and look hungry and cute while they eat and this usually earns me a taste or two of their meal.

My good buddies over at Telsa and Hansel and Benny's blog passed on this award to me!

An Easier Sunday

Bonjour kitties!

Mommy got back home VERY late on Friday. I was so happy to see her although there was a little problem...the airplane from Montreal kept her luggage in it's belly so when she flew from Motown to O Hi O she did not have her luggage. And guess what was in her luggage? Well, let's see.. my computer was there...what else...oh yeah, her camera and her car keys!!!

Yes kittes, Mommy broke the #1 rule of travel, she put stuff in her check-on luggage that she might actually need in the event that her luggage wouldn't show up when she did. Now you need to know that Mommy is not a novice flyer and that in her many years of traveling has she ever done something so silly. She said that she did this to have as little as possible on her person to go through customs. She was mad at herself and mad at the airplane for not giving up her luggage especially since the flights were 3 gates apart from each other!!!
We are very thankful to Mommy's best friend who got in her car late Friday night with Mommy's spare car key and drove a long way to rescue and very tired and cranky Mommy. Oh, and guess how long it took the airlines to get Mommy's luggage back to her? 37 hours! Mommy could have drove to Motown many times over to get her luggage in that amount of time.

So today kitties, we have Mommy and my laptop home and life in O Hi O is back to normal. Situations like this make me glad I am a cat!

Formerly Feral Friday

Today I'm just chillaxin' and waiting for Mommy to get home from her business trip to Montreal. We have a nice long weekend to look forward to with not a lot of plans. She's been very, very busy with her hunting the last few months.
I am glad that the Monkeys are watching out for her in Montreal! Mommy told Daddy that Montreal is a very beautiful place and that it is very progressive and friendly.
That's all well and good, but she needs to come back to good ol' O Hi O and give me a smooch!

I Have A Hairy Blankie!

Nice Ms. Peggy sent me a Hairy Blankie last weekend! AND kitties, it came with an awesome mouse! In this photo you can see how I levitated the mouse with my kitty mind-meld!
