BFF's

It's cuddle season here and as we get more mature and laid back, we enjoy a little snuggle time. Us older guys have to stick together. Diamond had his photo taken with the 'rents and Santa last weekend. See? -

Today Ricky Tiki Tavi is going for a visit with Santa Paws. Puff. Powder and I have decided to skip the Santa photo shoot. We'll see him on Christmas Eve when the 'rents are snoozing. Ricky Tiki Tavi is still too young to understand what he's getting himself into with this whole Santa thing. Heh-heh. We're all doing OK - Diamond is still dealing with his creaky bones and is taking medicine for them. He gets to take it with cheese! I have  some mats that will get me a trip to the groomers very soon.

I hope all of you are enjoying the holiday season. We are trying our best to be good so that Santa fills our stockings with good stuff!

I Have A Hairy Blankie!

Nice Ms. Peggy sent me a Hairy Blankie last weekend! AND kitties, it came with an awesome mouse! In this photo you can see how I levitated the mouse with my kitty mind-meld!

Tattle Tail Tuesday

Last week we got a gift from Mommy and Daddy.

Daddy worked all afternoon putting it together.
It's very tall with 3 perches for us.
He put it in front of a window so we can lay around and watch the neighbors and the wildlife.
So...anyone wanna' guess how many of us have used it yet?

I'll give you a hint, it rhymes with one of the emperors of Rome who enjoyed playing the fiddle.

Easy Like Sunday

Let's try this again today. We have a temporary fix for our Modem and the innernet people are coming on Tuesday to fix it for good. We hope.
Anyway, here is the wonderful stuff we got from Skeeter, LC and Ayla for winning their "guess their 20,000th visitor" post.
I got a very sweet note from Ayla. I am her "Auntie Parker" 'cause she's still a young meezer. I like being an Aunt! Lookit' all of this groovy stuff! We've chewed and played and batted the fevvers all over the place and we had the Fanciest of Fancy Feast for a Saturday snack! It was White Meat Chicken Tuscany which is one of our very favorites! I got some home-grown 'Nip! And let me tell you, it did not last very long! We even destroyed the empty baggie in the middle of the night (we snuck up on the butcher block - we kinda' got in trouble for that!)

These are the Tempations that was in the package. They are next to my very favorite thing - the treat canister! They will be going in the treat canister and then into my tummy!

The party was great! Here are Puff and Rudy eating the catnip leaves. We all rolled around in them too. We had never had pom poms before and we really like playing with them. They fly quite high into the air. That's a great thing! I'll also show you Puff and Rudy playing with one of the fevvers. As you can see the fevver was taking quite a beating!
Thanks so much for the package Skeeter, LC and Ayla, we really had a wonderful time with all of my gifts. Mommy said I was a very good kitty 'cause I shared with my sibs!

Saturday Caturday- Anticipation

This is me trying to be patient.

The fantabulous kitties, Skeeter, LC and Ayla sent me a prize package! I won their "guess the 20,000 visitor" contest. Mommy says that we can open it this afternoon and have a party! I'd like to open it now, but I have no thumbs. Mommy says she has a long list of things to do this morning and I have to be a good kitty and wait. Sigh...Aniticipation!
I have more good news! I have a birthday! DK & The Fluffies had the best idea!
Here is what they said -
"Ok - we vote for August 20th - Which is National Homeless Animals Day. Purrfect for a formerly feral."
I agree, and so did Mommy and Daddy! So now, I have a birthday! Mommy's birthday is August 13th - so 2 celebrations in one week ~ August is gonna' rock!

Here's the most important thing I would want in my sock -

A list of forever homes for kitties that don't have one! Then I could scoop all of the homeless kitties up and go with Santa and drop them off to their new homes! Wouldn't that be the best gift of all?

ps - A lot of you were worried that Diamond Doggy got left out in the snow yesterday, don't let that conniving Canine fool you, he was out there with Mommy playing with his ball in the snow.

Tattletale Tuesday

All of our photos sit on the dining room fireplace mantle. We think that it looks very nice and it makes us feel special! Well guess what Mommy wants to do? She wants to pack them up for the holidays so she can put her stupid decorations there! I don't care if our stocking hangers go there! Oh, wait...what? Our stockings have presents for us in them if we are good??? Never mind. Go ahead with your original plan Mommy, just ignore me. I'll just go and take a nap like a good kitty...
