Secret Paws Is On Its Way!

We packed and sent our Secret Paws this week. Daddy was feeling artistic and drew a kitty on the box. I bet the people in the bloo long johns will have fun delivering this!

Last week the man in the long bloo underwear delivered our Secret Paws package! It was from those very cool kittes at The Cat Realm! We are so excited! And before we could play with any of the toys, or eat any treats, Mommy took them and said "not 'till Christmas"! THE NERVE!
We want to thank our buddies for a great package - we can't wait 'till Christmas to enjoy everything.
Mommy started her vacation today - it really is the most wonderful time of the year, we have her home till next year!

Trees and Awards and Secrets - Oh My!

Well, well well...what is all of this? There has been a flurry of busy here in O Hi O and I have even snagged an award! Little ol' me, the humblest kitty you have ever met has been honored with the "Kreativ Blogger" award - and guess what? Three kitty blogs gave it to me! A Trifecta!!! W00T!

If you haven't met Katie yet you need to. She's a hoot and she is the owner of 2 humans over in Minnysoda. She was the first glamourpuss to pass the award to moi. Then there is the gang of nine over at Cat of Nine Tales - they thought of me too! Their humans have such a wonderful way of spinning a yarn - and there is nothing better than a human who can spin a good yarn - I love yarn, but that's a whole other story. Then there is Tygana who just put the cherry on top of my most wonderful award. Tygana is a wonderful mancat who seems to have a great big heart and wants to see all kitties happy and healthy. I like that in a mancat. TRIPPER - ARE YOU LISTENING??? Here are the rules of this award:

7 things about me that you don't know...is that possible? My life is an open book. Let's give it a try, shall we?
1. I really do know my name. When the 'rents call me, or talk about me when I am in earshot - I respond. If they say the name of one of my sibs, pfffft - no response.
2.If Mommy buys stinky goodness that is shredded, I will only lick the gravy and leave the rest. I am a stinky goodness snob.
3. My bottom front toofies are crooked. But they work just fine, thank-you.
4. Even though I have 2 different colored eyes, my hearing is great!
5. I am the youngest kitty here in O Hi O. I'm the baby, gotta' love me!
6. I don't really mind going to the VET. I have even been known to flirt while I am there!
7. I'm probably one of the happiest, care-free kitties around. I've really never been in a bad mood!
As for picking 7 kitties to pass this award to? Well I am a rebel! I tag You! And You! And You too! HA!
So what else is going on? Well, I can report that Mommy went out in the freezy weather and stood in line at the post office and mailed a lot of stuff yesterday, but the most important thing she mailed was our Secret Paws package! There is some kitty out there who got some very awesome "Parker-approved" goodies. And let me tell ya', there was some loot in there that I would have liked to have kept - but the 'rents reminded me that Santa is keeping a very close eye on my behavior! I need to stay on his good side, which is why I have not messed with the big tree...much.
Our trees are up and decorated and they provide a great deal of entertainment to all of us. And the tree skirts are perfect for taking little kitty-naps. It really is the most wonderful time of the year!
Have a groovy Sunday - I will be in the kitchen if you need me. Mommy has some kind of chicken recipe that I am snoopervising. My work here is never done!

Santa Paws!

Two sleeps before Christmas a package arrived!

Santa Paws had sent us some prezzies!

He wrote us a great letter and said we had been very good! Mommy and Daddy put the gifts under the tree and we got to open them on Christmas Eve!

Sunday Secret Paws!!!!!

The lady in the bloo long underwear delivered our Secret Paws package yesterday! It was from the wonderful gang over at Camie's Kitties! We have to tell you guys, they sure know how to send a party in a box! Diamond performs the sniff test and alerts the kitties that they need to gather around 'cause this is BIG STUFF!

Rudy is beyond pleased! He smells a 'Nip Ravioli! And do you know what else? Every kitty has their very own Snuggle! EVERY KITTY! Peace finally reigns in chilly O Hi O! No more fireplace wars over Gizzy's and Snuggles! Check this photo out, have you ever seen such a fabulous stash of heaven???
We will be posting more fun photos later this week - I can tell you that Rudy has already slobbered up the Ravioli. By the way, see the feather wand? I broke our other one last week helping Mommy recover from her illness - pretty good timing, eh? I leave you with my woofie Diamond and his own piece of heaven.

Saturday Caturday - Secret Paws

I can't tell you where this package is going 'cause it's a secret!

But I can tell you that is was a lot of fun getting it ready to go!
'Tis the season to be excited when you see the mail people!

ps - tomorrow Mommy is going to tell you how to make her yummy Fomerly Feral Fudge! It's very easy and beans seem to like it!

Thursday 13 Edition 4 - Our Review of The Babble Ball

One of the wonderful gifts that was in our Secret Paws package from the lovely Spooker from Purrchance To Dream was a Babble Ball. Not The Mama wanted us to provide honest feedback about our new toy. We have spent the last few days testing the ball and here is what we have concluded:

1.Mommy and Daddy loved that all they had to do to get it to work was pull a little bit of plastic out of the ball. No tools or switches or programming. Easy = Good.

2.We like that with just a little bitty touch, it starts to talk to you!

3.We like that it isn't too loud, if it was too loud we would be startled and scared.

4.It rolls very nicely! It rolls a lot like a golf ball, and we like golf balls.

5.We enjoy the smell of it. We sniff it all of the time. Mommy and Daddy don't think it smells like anything at all. We still like to sniff it.

6.If the ball says "here kitty, kitty kitty," we all come running. We like that it knows our nick-name!

7.Our D.O.G., Diamond, is a little scairt of it. We REALLY like that!

8.When it's very early o'clock we like to give it a swat. Not only does it talk to us, but Mommy and Daddy talk to us too! Then the ball gets put in the toy box till morning...sigh.

9.We don't get in fights over the ball - we treat it like prey, so we all gang up on it and have fun together!

10.It is a hard toy to lose. Some kitty always brushes up next to it and it talks!

11.If you swat it real hard it spins for a very long time. Long spinning time = good.

12.It's a good size to pick up with both paws and throw it up in the air, if were any larger, we couldn't do that.

13.It makes a sound like a birdy - that really gets us excited!

So, from the gang of four here at Perfectly Parker, we give it 8 paws up! Thanks again Spooker!

Oh Joy! Oh Rapture! We Got Our Secret Paws!

We had to wait till yesterday to open our secret paws package!

It was very hard for us to be patient.

Spooker and the other kitties from Purrchance To Dream sent it to us. We are so glad that they got our name - we had never read their blog before and we really love it. It was like getting another present!

It's addressed to all of us!

There was a very cool card with a kitty in a bucket!

Spooker wished us "Buckets 'O Fun" this summer!

Mommy even got some bubble wrap! (She loves to pop it!)

Feather Balls! Woo Hoo! (My favorites!)

See these bubbles? They are soooo cool! They don't break like normal bubbles and you can swat 'em, chase 'em and eat 'em! They are peach flavored and smell good!

There are fun foam balls, and some feather rolly things. We took them to bed with us. The parents were so happy at very early o'clock when we played with them!

This ball talks to us! Really! We kept trying to see the kitty in it, the kitty meowed a lot and there are birdies in it too - and there are people in it that talk to you. They must be very teeny tiny kitties and birdies and people!

Secret Paws Saturday

Looks As Though Some Kitty Is Gonna' Have Some Mail!

Mommy went to PetSmart today and got the goodies for my Secret Pal! I hope they like their loot! AND! we got 'nip, treats and a new toy as well. It's a very good day here in the middle of the U.S.A.

It's hot as H E double hockey sticks, but Mommy is home, treats are being doled out with a liberal hand and I am napping on my new Gizzy quilt (photos of me and my quilt soon). It really doesn't get much better than this! I hope everykitty is having a great weekend. And, Tripper, if you read this, "Hi, you big handsome tabby! I wish you had your very own blog... "
