HI! HI! HI! It's me, RUDY! with your Rudy Report! Yesterday we told you about T.C. the cat who is looking for his forever home and it's got me thinking. I am one lucky little orange menace. I have everything a kitty might want or need. Then there are kitties like T.C. who have to fight to survive and find a forever home. I have always had a home and 'rents who loved me from the second I drew breath. I'd like to ask you a favor, if you have room in your heart and home or if you know someone who might have room in their heart or home, could you help T.C. know what "forever home" means? T.C. The Cat - Lookin' For Love and A Forever Home

This is T.C.

He's a lover -  that's for sure. He had a face rash and it is clearing up significantly since the vet medicated him. He is living in a horse barn with one of Mommy's friends. Just showed up one day.

He's currently getting treatment on his right eye with Neomyocin Eye Ointment because he looked like it was irritated. So that's getting better day by day...I hope someone will want him. He was tested for Feline Leukemia on July 5 - negative. Given all vaccinations and neutered! He's ready to go to someone who would love to have a cat rub on their legs and  feet! He's gaining weight and lounging on the hay. He can't stay where he is because the indoor kitties will not accept him - they are two calico gals who have their minds made up!

T.C. is very friendly and we can arrange transportation. He lives in the Lima O Hi O area. Even though he currently lives in a barn, he'd like a real home to call his very own. If anyone is interested in this young male kitty, please contact us at hmiller013ATwohDOTrrDOTcom

Thankful Thursday

I'm very thankful that it isn't yesterday anymore. Mommy woke up on Tuesday night with an upset tummy and was feeling pretty lousy. So it was nursing duty all day long for me. I'm a lot happier when the 'rents take care of us, not the other way around. Daddy was very nice and helped too - today we seem to be back to normal and I need to catch up on all of the naps I missed.
Stay happy and healthy kitties, and all you 'rents out there - you stay happy and healthy too - we need you!

The Rudy Report

Oh, hey kitties! It's me RUDY! with The Rudy Report. All of this time stuck indoors while the hots take up residence in O Hi O means that I have to amuse myself with toys. I've surrounded myself with some of my favorites. It's a great way to pass the time and annoy my sibs because I am not very good at sharing.
Puff and Powder did fine at the Vet's last Friday. They are pretty healthy for a couple of 12 year old gals. But Powder has to get a dental this fall. Her back toofies have some yellow on them and she has lost a few of her teensy-tiny toofies on the bottom in front. Dr. Joe says she will do fine, but since she is so very petite, they will have to be extra careful with the anesthesia. She will have the work done in September. This gives the 'rents plenty of time to stress about it!
Oh, and here's a tip kitties - zucchini's are not delicious, no matter what your 'rents tell you!

Catch Me If You Can!

Mommy thinks that I don't know that today is the day that Puff and I go to see Dr. Joe for our wellness checks. Daddy told her he'd be "discreet" about getting the PTU's out and ready for us. Ha! Of all of the kitties in the house I am by far the fastest and hardest to stuff in a PTU. Mommy still has a scar from when I scratched her arm when she tried to get me in the PTU three years ago during our move to O Hi O.
I may be small, but I am mighty!

Hi! Diamond here, I'm stealing the blog to say thanks to the 'rents who are so nice to buy furniture that matches my furs. Quite the fashion statement I'd say.
I have to get off the blog now, Parker's givin' me the hairy eyeball...

Wordless Wednesday - Puff

Fuzzy Flying Fur...

So, there I was, minding my own business, taking a nap in the midst of the high hots that have come to live in O Hi O and the 'rents sneak up on me and take this most unflattering photo of my boo-hiney. All fuzzy and furry and shed-ie. It's true that I am a little unkempt, but no matter how much I groom and get groomed, the fur keeps flying. It's a summer thing and there's not much else I can do about it.
Daddy keeps sweeping and vacuuming and saying some words on my bad word list. But it's not just me, no sir...Diamond Doggie has been contributing more than his fair share of furs in the house.

Hey kitties, can you hear me now? It's RUDY! With your Rudy Report. We had a very restless night last night. Our little corner of the O Hi O is about 5 blocks from where they have a fireworks display for the town. For the 'rents and all of the other beans it's great because the fireworks are very pretty. But for Diamond Doggie, not so much...Diamond thinks that noisy intruders are trying to steal our stuff and he barks and barks and barks...
The 'rents stay by him and speak to him in soothing voices, that helps ease his stress. But still he barks. I'll tell you, after the first few minutes it can get on a kitties nerves. We try to tell him that it's OK, but he ignores us. Today I am tired and I plan on napping in front of the cold box. The hots have returned with a vengeance! I hope you can stay cool and get some naps in - it's really all that Mondays are good for!
