Hey kitties! We have a long weekend here in O Hi O. We plan on chillaxin' with the 'rents, catching up on all of the kitty news and smelling the great scents that come in through the open windows. I hope you all have a good weekend. Porch kitty has some pretty posies for you!

Lilacs In O Hi O

This is a photo taken of me and some lilacs last year, but it is one of my favorites. A sweet comment left yesterday by the boyz about an old tune made me think of it. Thanks boyz for the happy memory. Our lilacs smell and look pretty this year - I just didn't get my picture taken with them...

Pretty Posies

Back in February when Mommy was fighting New Mona, she was sent this basket of flowers to help her feel better. It reminded her that good things are worth waiting for and Spring really was on it's way.

See it now? Isn't it pretty? Even Diamond enjoys the posies. Remember kitties, Spring really is just around the corner for us!

The Rudy Report

Yawn...Oh, hey kitties! Is it time for the Rudy report?

I guess so! Well first of all it's time for a flower lesson. A few kitties asked us on Saturday if the pretty purple posies that we posted for Photo Hunters (whew! That's a lot of P's for one kitty to say all at once!) really were called Johnny Jump Ups.

They really are! You can read all about them here.

In other O Hi O news, the 'rents went flower shopping. I'm sure there will be a lot of pretty photos to show you in the future. Daddy even planted his tomatoes! He's so proud that he grew them from seeds. Mommy is praying that little bunnies or Tick and Tock don't think that they are the buffet special! She says that bunnies and squirrels love tiny little plants and that Daddy will be very unhappy if his plants get on the critter menu! I don't care as long as they leave my baby Catnip alone!

One last piece of news, I heard the 'rents saying that they are taking a vacation next month. They are going to a place called Lake Tahoe - it is very far from O Hi O and we will have our sitter staying here! Whatever you do, don't tell Parker! You know what a Daddy's girl she is - this is gonna rock her world!
