The Rudy Report

Tja kitties! It's me - RUDY! with your video Rudy Report! What you see in this video is our very first time on the deck in 2011. History being made! Parker, Powder and I all have a speaking role. Parker checks out a dead leaf and loves on our lounge chair, oh, and she chases Puff. Me? I'm just being my adorable self. You'll laugh, you'll cry at the injustice of Puff being forced out of the shot and you'll marvel at Mommy's mad film-shooting skillz.
So what else is new? WE FINALLY ORDERED A NEW COMPUTER! It isn't here yet, the Dell beans are saying that we will have it on May the 4th. It only took Mommy six months to make up her mind. Hopefully this old machine we are using will last another few weeks - and hopefully Mommy can figure out how to use the new one.
The flowers are blooming and we are all enjoying open windows and doors. I hope you are having a groovy day. Keep those tails high kitties!

The Rudy Report

Well Hi there kitties - it's me - RUDY! with your Rudy Report! What an awesome weekend it was! Mommy went out hunting and came back with a refill for the middle of my our Turbo Track ball chaser. She stuffed it full of the preemo 'Nip and I went to town! So much fun! I really feel good and Mommy says she thinks that I weigh more now than I ever have. I have to go and visit Dr. Wendy next month for my shots that are overdue. Dr. Wendy did not want to give them to me a few months ago because it was too early after that awful Hemobart that I had. I've  made it through my grooming last month, so I guess I can make it through a visit to Dr. Wendy and a few pokes in the butt.
The grill has been working overtime with the nicer weather and we have all had little tastes of real live dead shrimps and steak. Springtime rocks.
Keep those tails high and enjoy the passing of winter. I have to say, this winter was the worst winter I have ever had in all of my 12 + years. I made it though and am happy that I have the chance to welcome Spring to our little corner of O Hi O!

Parker's Good (and bad) Side

I love lilacs and I love it when Mommy says I look pretty. That's why I like this photo so very much. I think it brings out the soft side of me...
...then I think about Rudy going to the groomers on Friday and I laugh and laugh and laugh...
I guess that makes me pretty and snarky... I like that!

Wordless Wednesday - Powder

The Rudy Report

Zippity-Do-Dah and all the jazz kitties, here I am, me - Rudy - with The Rudy Report! I am plum worn out, what a weekend full of work! It's officially Spring-time now, so I guess that means all of us has to be put to work getting the ol' homestead ready for warmer weather and removing the winter "funk" from the house. I had to be a part of the de-funkifiying process and suffered the indignity of an against-my-will brushing. Let's just say that it did not go well for Mommy. Scratches were dealt and hisses were heard...and I hear that the battle is not over. Bring it Mommy...bring it.

In happier news, bunnies and baskets have been brought out and the sun shined for the entire weekend. It was one of the few times I heard Mommy say that she was glad we didn't live in Kansas City any more, they got a lot of snow this weekend.

So...bring on the jelly beans and the chocolate eggs if you are a bean, bring on the 'nip and stinky goodness if you are of the feline persuasion - it's time to party!

Saturday was a beautiful day in O Hi O. Mommy still has a cold, but Daddy decided it was time to start a tomato patch. So while Mommy let us out on our deck and kept her eye on us and sneezed and wiped her Rudolph-the-Red-Nosed-Reindeer nose, Daddy dug up his patch in preparation for the tomatoes that he has started in the house. We saw our squirrel friends Tick and Tock watching Daddy with great interest. I hope for their sake that they don't think he's planting tomatoes for them!

Movie Monday!

I gave Mommy a little tummy and wash video yesterday. It was such a beautiful day, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and the neighbors dog was barking!

Thursday 13 - Flower Pictures

Mommy and Daddy love flowers in the spring almost as much as they love me! Last weekend they went to a greenhouse and got some posies for our home.

There were a lot of pretty flowers to choose from.
Here's the makeshift gardening work area.
Daddy had to put things in the porch to hold the new baskets.

Here's one of the finished baskets - it will get "floofy and full" later in the season.

It's hard to see them from this far away!

But you can see some of our tulips!
