Lookit'! There was a package for us in the bag of the guy with the bloo shorts! Mommy said it was from the nice people over at Purrfectplay - they sent us a box of their goodies so we can host some giveaway contests! I'll tell you this much kitties, there are some goodies in this box that you would definitely want for your very own.

For starters, there is this bag of mixed Dust Bunnies! If you want to see a better photo, please go here. I know about these because Mommy brought one home for us last April from Blogpaws and we never leave it alone. They are 'da bomb! They are organic and safe for us to play with, and your 'rents can wash and dry them.  Do you want to enter to win this great bag of fun? I was thankful this weekend for the sun and the 'nip and a little furmination. Mommy was thankful for something else. I don't get it...

Pretty Posies

Back in February when Mommy was fighting New Mona, she was sent this basket of flowers to help her feel better. It reminded her that good things are worth waiting for and Spring really was on it's way.

See it now? Isn't it pretty? Even Diamond enjoys the posies. Remember kitties, Spring really is just around the corner for us!

The Best Way To Start A New Year...

...is with Daddy skritches! I am so thankful I have 'fomerly' in front of feral.
Happy 2010 kitties! We had a great night with great food - shrimps! Cows! Temptations! And when the ball dropped we were with the ones we love.
Here's hoping that every day in 2010 is as good as the way it began!

Sunday Secret Paws!!!!!

The lady in the bloo long underwear delivered our Secret Paws package yesterday! It was from the wonderful gang over at Camie's Kitties! We have to tell you guys, they sure know how to send a party in a box! Diamond performs the sniff test and alerts the kitties that they need to gather around 'cause this is BIG STUFF!

Rudy is beyond pleased! He smells a 'Nip Ravioli! And do you know what else? Every kitty has their very own Snuggle! EVERY KITTY! Peace finally reigns in chilly O Hi O! No more fireplace wars over Gizzy's and Snuggles! Check this photo out, have you ever seen such a fabulous stash of heaven???
We will be posting more fun photos later this week - I can tell you that Rudy has already slobbered up the Ravioli. By the way, see the feather wand? Sunday Stinky Goodness Time

It's Sunday, and around here Sunday is a great day. We get a special Sunday breakfast of this!

Most mornings we get our dry food with a few treats. We love Sundays!
To quote MontyQ, "Nom, Nom, Nom, Nom, Nom, Nom..." Here we are this morning having our special Sunday breakfast - notice that I always get the primo position.

The Weekend Was Wonderful - I Got Mail!

I was so excited to get mail! Daddy says I get more mail than he does! The fabulous kitties, Samantha and Tigger over at Life From A Cat's Perspective sent me a prize package 'cause I was a winner on their Mystery Post! Look at all the very cool stuff they sent me!

Those are some big lizards that they have in Florida! Be careful you two! That lizard has a golfball in his jaws, imagine what he'd do to a kitty!

It's Friday and Nice Matters!

I Am Honored and I Am Humbled

Princess (Prinnie) was so very nice to nominate me for this very special award, as was the wonderful and gracious Miss Peach. Where my Mommy grew up in the Mitten state she always went to a restaurant called Henry's. Their motto was "It's Nice To Be Nice." She never forgot that. So I am proud That I have made my Mommy happy by receiving this award! I am going to nominate two blogs that I think are very nice. Purrchance to Dream and Meep from Buzzerbee and Meep. Both of these blogs always focus on the better side of life even when they would have every reason to be negative about some of the sad things that have happened to them lately.

AND Sweet Ariel awarded me a Blogging Star - thank you Sweet Ariel! The award started at Skittles place and I would link back to Skittles - but I can't cause I think the linkie is broke - sorry! It's been so hard lately for for so many kitty families, I hope that it's a sunshiny, treat-getting, nap taking, human lovin' type of weekend for everyone.

In the Formerly Feral arena, I would like to show you that I can still pose nicely when I feel like it - and I am not stoned on the nip here. Ain't I precious?!?

Where Have These Been All of My Life?

What the heck are these things?!?

Hey! Where's my plate?

There was a special celebration dinner at our house last night. The reason was boxes. In honor of the very last box being unpacked this weekend, it was decided that crab would be made since Mommy can now find all of her kitchen stuff (see that lobster cracker thingy? It was packed with our garage things...) .
Anyway, I'd never seen, smelled or tasted crab before. My love for all things HAM!! is well documented, like here and here. I am crazy for shrimp. I adore Temptations. I love steak. But crab?!? AAAIIIEE - that stuff takes my kitty taste buds to a whole new level! We all got a little taste of it. I loved it so much that I am afraid I was a little rude to my siblings. Threats were made and insults were hurled. Diamond recieved many Paw of Death cries. I am not proud of my behavior, but I plead crab insanity. That stuff is good! Sadly, Mommy says it is very, very very expensive. We won't be having crab again for quite a long time. Sigh...

In The Freezer Section

Holy Cats! This stuff if good! Since we had a little birthday party for Mommy last night, we got our very own "better than" ice cream. The instructions say to let it thaw about halfway then enjoy. So that's what we did - we enjoyed it. A lot! The D.O.G. got Frosty Paws for a treat, he loves that stuff (you can see it under my package of Cool Claws). We tried to find the website, but it is under constructuion. We were going to tell them how yummy their product was. So kitties, have you ever tried this stuff, and if you did, did you like it? Mommy says it's pretty expensive for the amount that you get, but for an occasional treat when it is so hot outside it sure is worth it!

The lawn mower and hedge trimmer are because Daddy is working hard on the yard at our new home. He promises that the Christmas holidays will be a little more "romantic." Mommy is fine with that. She wants the yard to look pretty too!

Secret Paws Saturday

Looks As Though Some Kitty Is Gonna' Have Some Mail!

Mommy went to PetSmart today and got the goodies for my Secret Pal! I hope they like their loot! AND! we got 'nip, treats and a new toy as well. It's a very good day here in the middle of the U.S.A.

It's hot as H E double hockey sticks, but Mommy is home, treats are being doled out with a liberal hand and I am napping on my new Gizzy quilt (photos of me and my quilt soon). It really doesn't get much better than this! I hope everykitty is having a great weekend. And, Tripper, if you read this, "Hi, you big handsome tabby! I wish you had your very own blog... "

Thrilled Thursday 13 - Why I like It When Mommy Comes Home

Mommy will be taking the big silver thing home and will be lovin' on all of us this evening!

Here's 13 reasons that this is a good thing!

1. It's like the world's furriest pajama party. We all get to play and snuggle in the big bed!
2. Treats, lots and lots of treats!
3. She cooks more than Daddy. I like to snoopervise from the chair in the kitchen.
4. She knows all of our best skritchy spots.
5. She sings to me, I love Motown in Mommy's voice!
6. She plays tinsel wand a lot longer than Daddy will.
7. MMMMmmmmmm, paw massages!
8. Sheet mice time!
9. Mommy moooshes our stinky goodness just right!
10. She plays "chase the kitty" and "what's in the bag?"
11. She might take a nap or two in the afternoons! Heaven!
12. She likes salmon for dinner, Daddy will grill it for her and we all get some!
13. This trip, she has no "outside appointments" and will spend lots of time with us!

Bonus thing, Knowing we are loved so very much makes us very happy!

Whatever day it is that Mommy comes home for a visit! Daddy is happier, there is a good energy in the (freshly cleaned) house and I get majorly loved on! Oh - and Daddy changes the litter boxes that day too!

I think I like Autumn the best! The air is crisp and it's optimum snuggle season!

That's easy! Easter! One long run-on reason, HAMHAMHAMHAMHAMHAMHAMHAMHAMHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ummmm...Being from the middle of the U.S.A., AND having fur doesn't lend itself to me being crazy about any beach! Have you ever had to clean sand off of your fur? 'Nuff said!
