Easy Like Sunday - Awards

I know I've been a little shy about showing you how my BooBoo is doing.
But this week, I am going to show you!

Just not today!
Instead, I'm going to show you an award that was given to me last week! I'm very honored that Camie's Kitties and Grrreta thought of me - what a great award!
Here is the meaning and rules of this award:"This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."

We pass this along to everyone, all of our blogging friends are charming!

Saturday was a beautiful day in O Hi O. Mommy still has a cold, but Daddy decided it was time to start a tomato patch. So while Mommy let us out on our deck and kept her eye on us and sneezed and wiped her Rudolph-the-Red-Nosed-Reindeer nose, Daddy dug up his patch in preparation for the tomatoes that he has started in the house. We saw our squirrel friends Tick and Tock watching Daddy with great interest. I hope for their sake that they don't think he's planting tomatoes for them!

Oh I like to play with tomatoes! Once mom left one on the kitchen counter and she found it a month later under the bed! Ewwww! (Fortunately it was in a plastic bag.)

Oh Parker! You are a tease with your booboo. Our mum bought tomato seeds a month ago to start off indoors. They are still in the packet!

We sure hope your Mom's red nose gets better very soon. Tons of purrs to her!

Maw can't plant 'maters this year cuz she is too busy with moving and all that. Next year we will have a real garden though. Squirrels never bothered our 'maters. The busy rats did one year though...

Oh Parker, don't tease us so! It looks like you are going to have a big garden!

That garden looks awesome! Jonesie said she'll share all her great tips with you. Squirrels just steal our bird food, not our food. We have to watch out for nasty old slugs! My mom catches them in beer cups...gross....

We are sorry to hear you have a 'boo boo' Parker, get well soon. Tell your mom to get well soon, too. We admire your dad's gardening fever, it is still snowing here and planting tomatoes is out of the question here, probably for a long time. Will dad put in a couple of catnip plants too?

Our ground is still frozen, no ones digging anything up in our neck of the woods.
You'll have to share the garden progress with us, from now till harvest time. Will your mom make salsa?

We bet Tick and Tock will have their clocks cleaned if they get in that 'mater patch!

That looks like a big outside litter box!

Make sure to give us a boo-boo update.

Good luck with the tomato patch. The lady says that homegrown tomatoes are the best. She grows a couple of plants in containers, but she won't plant them for a couple of months. We pulled weeds today.
