Sneezy Like Sunday

I'm taking a little play break right now while Puff lays on Mommy and purrs. But soon I will be back on duty. The cold in Mommy's nose is full-force today and she's going through kleenex and liquids like I go through Temptations and 'nip. It's tough being on Nurse-duty, but that's what we cats are here for, right? Through good times and sick times you can count on us!

It's Washday Somewhere...

While Mommy blows her nose and whines about catching ANOTHER cold, I thought I would send you over to see 50 Animals Who Hate Baths. And it may come as no surprise, but cats are in some of these photos.

Peace out, kitties -

Easy Like Sunday - Awards

I know I've been a little shy about showing you how my BooBoo is doing.
But this week, I am going to show you!

Just not today!
Instead, I'm going to show you an award that was given to me last week! I'm very honored that Camie's Kitties and Grrreta thought of me - what a great award!
Here is the meaning and rules of this award:"This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."

We pass this along to everyone, all of our blogging friends are charming!

Saturday was a beautiful day in O Hi O. Mommy still has a cold, but Daddy decided it was time to start a tomato patch. So while Mommy let us out on our deck and kept her eye on us and sneezed and wiped her Rudolph-the-Red-Nosed-Reindeer nose, Daddy dug up his patch in preparation for the tomatoes that he has started in the house. We saw our squirrel friends Tick and Tock watching Daddy with great interest. I hope for their sake that they don't think he's planting tomatoes for them!

Formerly Feral Friday - Putting My Paw Down

Today was the day that I was going to show you my face and how my BooBoo is improving, but Mommy came home from traveling with a wicked bad cold. I have to put my paw down and insist that she rest a bit.
We will be back as soon as she feels a little better. In the meantime, I have to go and purr on her chest. Nurse Parker to the rescue! Formerly Ferals know the importance of resting up and staying warm when you are sick!
Vicks Vapor-Rub Smoochies to all of you!
