Well kitties, it has started. The 'rents are gearing up for Halloween and the decorations have been unpacked, cleaned and tested. It's going to be an interesting weekend watching all of the scary stuff go up around the house. Being Formerly Feral, none of this concerns me - I am safe and sound inside where I belong.

Sunday Stuff With Awards

First of all, you kitties rock! I want to thank every one of you for displaying the American Diabetes Awareness widget on your sidebars. A cure for this rotten disease is something we pray for. So thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

I am also kind of happy that the Halloween stuff is disappearing. Good bye little pumpkins and scary hanging stuff and the entire 9 trick-or-treaters that came to our home. Yup, we only had 9 trick-or-treaters. Mommy and Daddy were disappointed that there were so few. Now we have about a squillion bags of candy in the house. Mommy does not eat it and Daddy can't eat a squillion bags of candy. I heard talk of it going to a shelter for women. Fine with me, I don't care for sweet stuff.
The Chicago Bears play the Detroit Lions (aka The Motor City Kitties) today. We are a house divided. Don't tell Daddy, but I hope the kitties win!
And there is something very strange going on here...I'll show you guys tomorrow.

While I am on the best road trip with The Devil dog Crew (we are visiting Daisy today!). I have a favor to ask you. Would you click on my Halloween poem to my Daddy and leave a comment? Mancat Monday - My Brother Rudy the Gizzy Hog

We were treated to a most wonderful surprise on Saturday. Our friend Millie and her Mom sent us a very lovely, very comfy Halloween Gizzy quilt! Rudy immediately claimed it for his own. I'm telling you that it is comfy because Rudy said it is. Not because I have tried it out yet. Because RUDY IS A GIZZY HOG! Stupid brothers! I want a turn!

Mommmmmmmmmmy, this isn't fair! I want a turn! Make him get off of it!

Thursday 13 - Ready For Halloween!

For reasons I do not understand, here in O Hi O little sticky beans go door-to-door this Saturday to Trick or Treat. I thought that they always did this on the actual date of Halloween. They also go during the day. So in order to be ready for them I did a final quality check.

Very flat witch, check.
Cool black kitty, check.
Hanging pumpkin lanterns, check.
Masked Pumpkins, check.
Welcome pumpkin, check.
Vampire teeth kitty, check.

3 gray kitties, check.
Happy black kitty, check.
Scary hanging bat guy, check.
Pumpkin toy, check.
Black kitty flag, check.
Scarecrow guards, check.

I think we are ready for the weekend! Bring on the little sticky beans! I'll be watching from the upstairs window!
