Widely Traveled Wednesday

If you click on the link you will see a map of three things. Starting with the little (little!) town furthest west, Garden City, Kansas. That is where I started life as a feral cat. I will write about it some day. I don't even like to think about my humble beginnings because it makes me sad and scared. Life was not good. My Daddy changed all of that.
Next on the map you can see Kansas City. That's where I have lived for the last 4+ years. I love it here! I have everything a kitty wants. Except a Mommy who comes home every night.
The last place on the map is O Hi O. That's where Mommy has been working since Easter. That's a lot of sleeps. I miss her a lot when she is not here and so does the rest of our little family. When she came home last weekend there was a lot of talking going on between Mommy and Daddy. They had a pad of paper and made a list of pros and cons. I had no idea what this meant. I just knew they were very serious and trying to get their attention was hard. They told us that they had to make a very difficult decision. They had to decide if it was worth moving from our home in the middle of the U.S.A. where Mommy and Daddy have lived for many years and move all of us to O Hi O!

They have made their decision.

We are moving.

Oh. My. Cat.! ! !

That is very exciting! I have moved two times, and got to fly on an airplane. Moving is a big adventure! I think it will be worth it so you do not have to be away from your Mommy all the time.

We have never been to Lima, but O HI O is a furry nice place (if you get to the right airport) :) We hope you find a nice place to live and have a smooth move.

Well, Parker, this is exciting. You will have Mommie home every night.

Mom, we moved Captain [the woofie] and the kitties from Florida to Atlanta, and then back to Florida 5 months later. Everyone did just fine in their carriers. The cats pretty much slept the whole time. It's who they are with, not where they are, that matters.

I've never been to Lima either, but My Lady has plenty of times. It's only about an hour north of us is what she tells me. I think you will like O Hi O. It'll be okay.

It's okay, Parker, two of us were dragged (er, moved) from Long Island to New Jersey and once we got used to the rocking of the car it wasn't so bad. Now we love it here!
