Thursday 13 Edition 1

Thirteen Things We Do When Mommy and Daddy Aren't Home
  1. See above cartoon
  2. Stare pathetically out of the windows so the neighbors think we're abandoned
  3. Leave cryptic messages in the litter box crystals
  4. Do the Hokey-Pokey on the dining room table - "put your left paw in..."
  5. Strategic hairball placement contest
  6. Gang up on the D.O.G. and make him give us pony-rides around the living room
  7. Re-arrange the throw rugs in a more tasteful decor
  8. Have a karaoke meow-ling contest ala' American Idol - "Start Spreading the News..."
  9. Convince the D.O.G. that the folks are NEVER coming home again
  10. Watch the D.O.G. have a nervous breakdown
  11. Convince the D.O.G. that we're just kiddin'
  12. Two words - indoor gardening, we love re-potting houseplants!
  13. Leave groomed fur on counters, shelves and furniture - such a chic fashion statement!

These are wonderful activities.
We love the strategic hairball placement, that is one of our favorites!! we do not have a d.o.g. so, sadly, no pony rides here.

What a fine art project on that chair! Have you read about mine?
We can't reach both sides of our chair 'cause there's a table in the way, but we've produced an excellent piece on the side that faces into the room. We're very proud of it!

It sounds like fun at your house! I never wanted a D.O.G. before, but if he would give me a pony-ride, it might be worth it.

What a great list of things to do. That chair art looks like a ton of fun. I think I'll get started on one now...don't tell mommy, it should be a surprise.

That is one great list! It sounds like it might be fun to have a dog around. We do like to go on the dining room table sometimes!

This is some wonderful list. We esp. like the one about the Hokey-Pokey, esp. since you are doing it on the dining room table. Momma hates it when I get up there. I don't know why, I am a very good girl up there.

miss perfectly parker, you've got some EXCELLENT ideas about how to keep yourself occupied and entertained!

i would imagine it isn't too hard to convince the D.O.G. that your folks aren't coming home. so gullible!
