Easy Like Sunday

We had big thunderboomies and lightning last night! All of our snow is gone because it's raining. Mommy says that it's raining CATS and dogs! I don't see any cats or dogs in the sky, so I think Mommy is a little strange. Puff is no fan of loud noises and she's hanging close to the 'rents. Rudy is being himself, so that means I need to keep an eye on him. We are warm and dry inside, but if there are little raining cats and dogs out there, I hope they are having fun! Have a cozy Sunday kitties!

Tattle Tail Tuesday - My BooBoo v.2

Take a gander, but it ain't pretty.

It's fine, not infected, just unattractive!
Rudy is soooooo in for it!
(Hey kitties, it isn't only me that's having a rough health patch, Mommy is having surgery today to see if she has something wrong with her insides. Chances are very good that they will not find anything bad, but I know her and Daddy are a little anxious. I'd like to ask that you purr and pray that there is not a single thing wrong with her and that she is back home tonight. I don't think I will be able to post for a few days, she's gonna' have to focus on getting over the surgery. I'm gonna miss you guys, but I promise, I will be back as soon as I can - smoochies to all of you, now I have to go and hang with Mommy, she's needing serious kitty mojo!)

Tattle Tail Tuesday - My BooBoo

So kitties, picture it, Friday night, all of us were chillaxin' in the living room enjoying the company of the 'rents and watching the fireplace and the T.V. Snacks and treats had been liberal. The feather wand and the Cat Dancer and the fake mousies had been out and properly played with. All was well in our little corner of O Hi O. Or so I thought...
Then, out of nowhere - that orange menace Rudy strolled over to me and gave me a swat on my cheek! For no reason! I was stunned and just sat there staring at him in disbelief! Mommy was near us and had the evil squirt bottle close at hand in case we decided to start sharpening our claws on the new furniture (we've been very, very good and have not scratched it...yet...). She got Rudy full on in the puss and he ran away like the little ginger scoundrel that he is. She scooped me up before I knew it and inspected my booboo. Then she cleaned it! I protested and ran and hid. Later that evening I appeared for therapeutic Temptation treats, hugs and smooches and Rudy got none! Ha! I am happy to report that I am fine, but my face is temporarily marred. I anticipate a full recovery.
Front view of my booboo.

Side view.

A view of the perp who remains unapologetic and full of mats.
Mommy says we should all forgive and forget. I say that revenge is a dish that is best served cold. And served it shall be...

Formerly Feral Friday - My Boo Boo

I have a Boo Boo! My brother Rudy is the prime suspect. His history of being a big orange meanie is well documented here and here. Being formerly feral you would think that a scratch on the nose would not bother me. But it does. I am a peaceable kitty. The only good thing about this scratch is that Mommy feels very sorry for me and I have been able to get a squillion sympathy treats. Rudy has received none. So Ha-Ha Rudy!

"I have the right to remain silent..."

Raindrops Kept Falling On Our Roof!

These little mushrooms are growing IN OUR DOORMAT by the entrance to our back porch. I think this is a sure sign that Kansas City had plenty of rain last weekend. I think that's another reason Rudy was so cranky, we had very little sun. We look forward to sunbaths on the porch. When we don't get them, we get cranky!

Rudy appears unapologetic.

I'm keeping vigilant. He's lucky he didn't get the Paw of Death!

Thank-you for all of your concern. We seem to have calmed down and called a truce. Mommy thinks it's 'cause they were moving a lot of things around the house and packing. They quit doing that and are going to leave the rest to the movers. We'll have a break in the action for a month or so. I suppose the real fun will be the actual move. We are going to drive with Mommy and Daddy. We all have our own kennel and we should be fine. All of us have moved once before so Mommy and Daddy have an idea how to work with us to cause the least amount of stress. It's going to be a long summer...
