Happy 19th Birthday Rudy!

Today I am 19 years old. Wow. I don't feel that old. I have lived with many awesome brothers and sisters over the years. My Mom Puff, sweet Powder, Payton, beloved Parker Pie, and now Rickey Tiki Tavi and Kharma -  the great dogs, Jordan, Diamond and now sweet Fletcher. I have been very fortunate. Mom says that I have never known hunger, been without a loving family and a home - and for the most part have been very healthy. I wish all kitties could be as lucky as I have been...

Our Little April Fool - Happy 19th Birthday Powder

Guess Who is 19 Today?

This Girl!

We feel blessed to still have this little creature in our lives. Powder has been a part of our lives since Mommy and Daddy were married  - Powder was just a wee sprig back then. And to tell the truth, she never got much bigger. She's always weighed between 5 and 6 pounds. Such a little girl. Such a big mouth...she has the loudest meower out of all of us. As you can see, Powder thinks that she is large and in charge. Mommy says she's almost totally deaf, but she says the same thing about me - what??? Anyway - today we celebrate our littlest kitty, Mommy's heart and our darling Puff's littermate. Powder may be slowing down, but she still enjoys life and thinks that Mommy's lap is the best place in all of the world.

It's cuddle season here and as we get more mature and laid back, we enjoy a little snuggle time. Us older guys have to stick together. Diamond had his photo taken with the 'rents and Santa last weekend. See? -

Today Ricky Tiki Tavi is going for a visit with Santa Paws. Puff. Powder and I have decided to skip the Santa photo shoot. We'll see him on Christmas Eve when the 'rents are snoozing. Ricky Tiki Tavi is still too young to understand what he's getting himself into with this whole Santa thing. Heh-heh. We're all doing OK - Diamond is still dealing with his creaky bones and is taking medicine for them. He gets to take it with cheese! I have  some mats that will get me a trip to the groomers very soon.

I hope all of you are enjoying the holiday season. We are trying our best to be good so that Santa fills our stockings with good stuff!

Mommy here - Rudy is just fine, as a matter of fact, he seems pretty pleased with himself. He sprawled right out in the middle of the living room for all the world to behold his glory. Parker, Puff, Powder and Diamond Doggie stared and stared at him. He has to be cooler and it has to feel good to have those horrible mats off of him. But honestly, the looks on his brother and sister's faces when they first looked at him were pretty priceless...

Puff is so very thankful for the Ham-micks in front of the fireplace. She'll be right there till Spring has sprung!

The Rudy Report

Hey there kitties! it's me! Rudy with the Rudy Report. What a nice weekend we had in O Hi O! I think that the best parts were the 70 degree temperatures and the yummy food that got cooked out on the grill! We all got some chicken yesterday and we even scored some bacon from the BLT's on Saturday. Nip was liberally distributed on the deck and the 'rents were home most of the time. Parker and Puff and Powder got furminated and I got to watch. I still refuse to let Mommy groom me. Not. Gonna. Happen.
Now if you will excuse me, I am waiting on a call from my agent. Mommy says that I am so handsome that I oughta' be in pictures!

I don't know about that, but I do know lounging on the dining room table is the bomb! Have a good Monday kitties, don't forget to be nice to your beans - they seem to be a little grumpy on Mondays!

Floof Update

I was a very good boy at the groomers! There was no sedation, and I let them get all of my tangles out of my fur, clip my nails and clean my ears!
Parker was so shocked! She could not believe that I came home with my floof intact!

It's true Parker, I was a good boy, I have my floof and I rock!

It's good to be home and tangle free! I smell good too - just ask Parker! Ha-Ha-Ha!

You Can Run...

...but seriously everykitty, please think good thoughts for the Orange Menace. If he has to be sedated, we will all be worried until we hear he's OK and ready to come home. Afterall, Rudy is my favorite pest and Mommy and Daddy seem to love him a lot too!

...and they took all of our food and water away before we went to bed! SOB!!!
