The Rudy Report

HiYa' - It's ME! RUDY! With the Rudy Report. I do not know where to start. We first and foremost have our attention turned to Parker Pie who keeps on keeping on, slower and quieter, but she keeps on.
Your prayer and purrs are helping, so thank you from me and  my little sis and all of our family here in O Hi O.

This is Newton at our little shelter.. kitties, you have no idea how close this boy came to live at our home (Poofy tail!),I'm going to let Mommy tell the story...

Mommy here- we thought we could make a smooth transition with Newton sharing our home. we took Diamond to the shelter today to meet Newton, It did not go well. Even with the proper way to introduce dogs, Diamond was having none of it and that sealed the deal. I had lots of reservations with Parker being sick and that, with the combination of Diamond hating the idea and Newton being so LARGE-well, there is a better place for him, There is aready a family interested in him. He's just not for our little family, He gets his neuter tomorrow and will be on the adoption floor on Saturday. I'll make it my mission that he gets his forever home.

She's having a good day! Her appetite is still great and she's a lap hog. We just take one day at a time.

The Rudy Report

Hey kitties - it's ME - RUDY! With your Rudy Report. I am trying very hard to be a good big brother to Parker. As you can see I let her nap next to me in front of the warm and toasty fire. The 'rents are proud of me because I hardly ever tease or chase her. She still has her famous appetite, but she is still skinny. She does not walk fast but she can still jump up on the sofa and radiators. The bed is a little high for her now, so Daddy carries her up the stairs and helps her on to the bed. She still enjoys sleeping by the 'rents heads all night long. She's in no pain, but Mommy says that she is slowly beginning to fade. We all make the most of our time together and Parker loves it when Mommy shares her dinner with her. I think that is the favorite time of the day for her. We thank you for your kind comments, prayers, purrs and encouraging emails. They brighten our days. We also thank you for supporting Parker's hissing and swatting out Diabetes - what a wonderful thing to do!

Soon it will be the day where mommy makes turkey - now that's one of my favorite days!

Keep those tails high kitties and keep praying for my little sis - she plans on being around for a long time. We pray that she gets her wish.

Just Trying To Blend In...

So, here's what I've had to put up with. It's hard not to be able to snoopervise and it's harder not to have the living room to nap and birdwatch in. Puff is twitterpated 'cause she isn't able to nap in front of the fireplace in her ham-mick. Life as we know it is all cross-ways and wrong! Mommy says to be patient - right Mommy, we're cats, and we just oooooze patience...

We like the new color - it's a very light and breezy green. I just wish they'd hurry up and finish. Oh, did I mention the stinky paint smell? Why couldn't they buy tuna-scented paint? Is that too much to ask?

How about a picture of me on the blog?

Thankful Thursday - Puff

Puff is so very thankful for the Ham-micks in front of the fireplace. She'll be right there till Spring has sprung!

She is, however, not a fan of Rudy's butt!!!

Mancat Monday - The Rudy Report

Hi Kitties! It's me, Rudy the Floofmeister with the Rudy Report!

We had a quite a weekend. We all took turns nursing Mommy back to health from her cold from H E Double-Hockey-Sticks. She is still sick but has to go into work today for a while. That's good because we all need a rest from out nursing shifts. Oh, and I chased Parker out of the play box a few times just because I could...
Then it snowed outside here in O Hi O. This seemed to depress everyone. I was cool with it because it made the fireplace come on!

AND I ate some delicious chicken on Sunday! Daddy made it for Mommy and we all got just a little taste. But I yakked some of it back up on the carpet in the living room and did not tell anyone. Later on in the evening Daddy stepped in it with his bare feet.

All in all, watching Daddy hop around and say lots of bad words and making Mommy laugh at the same time really made for a fun Sunday evening!
I hope your weekend was a lot better than ours was. Sick beans and yakky feet make for pretty cranky 'rents!

Saturday Caturday - Rudy Chillaxin'

It's good to be me today. Nothin' to do but nap and eat and enjoy the Hammicks and the fireplace. Diamond, on the other hand, is not having as good of a day. It's his annual check-up at the VET's and he has to get his nails clipped. Daddy had to take a sample of Diamond's poops in too! So actually, it sux to be Diamond and it sux to be Daddy!
AND we get leftover turkey again! Yay!

And my good friends Abby, Boo, Jinx, Ping and Gracie won the Piggy and Stocking Auction for Project HAM! Tomorrow the piggy is going to make a trip down south to his forever home! Isn't that exciting? AND - don't tell them, but there's a surprise in the box too! I love surprises! Stay warm and dry today - we are supposed to get another 6-8 inches of snow in O Hi O!

Puff has claimed both the Holiday Gizzy and the Skinny Gizzy for her nap. Sharing is not her strong suit. Rudy has decided it isn't worth the fight, as long as she leaves the ravioli alone.
