This'll teach the 'rents to abandon me! I had the best party ever yesterday! I had a lot of my friends over and we played a lot of games. Here's some of the highlights of yesterday's activities; ALL my friends from
Forty Paws came over and we had a blast with the "who can pull the longest thread from the curtain?" game. Dorf won. He was very proud of himself. I can't wait to tell Mommy this, cause she thinks he can do no wrong.
Oscar taught me a new game that was quite a hit - it's called "creative peeing outside the box". Yeah, good times, that game!
Ali and Fiona pooped on my Daddy's pillow with my full blessing, and
Ben2 kept a lookout for my Uncle Dougy. He was a great lookout! Thanks Ben2. We all stopped and said a prayer for
Suz. She was not feeling good enough to visit. We missed her. Now lemme' tell you a little bit about
Daisy. You think she's a little on the goodie-goodie side don't 'cha? Go on, admit it, you think she's a little Miss Goodie 4-paws. NOT TRUE, that girl can party till the cows come home! She brought her 'nip bananer and her tent - I tried to play tent wars with her, but she kicked my fuzzy little butt! And, she kept singing - whatta voice! Wow, really, what a voice...whew...
Anyway, pretty soon
Scooby, Shaggy and Scout joined in on the fun and showed us all how to play the "find the breakable stuff, knock it over and shed at the same time game." It takes a great deal of skill to play this game and pretty soon my 'rent's living room was a sea of fur and broken knick knacks. I really have to give those three credit, they bring a certain "energy" to a party!
Mr. Hendrix is a master at the "creative places for yakking" game. I can't wait till mommy moves the pillow on the futon in the guest room! She's in for a lovely surprise!
Derby was so handsome in person, just like I thought he would be. He helped Ben2 keep a lookout for Uncle Dougy, he has keen eyes!
Marie and the whole bunch came for the tent wars and some good old fashioned dining room hokey pokey, Marie is a very good dancer and has never taken a lesson! Amazing moves that kitty has!
I was beyond thrilled to see all of the gang from
Kattonic Cats show up - these guys are so funny! They showed us how to play "pin the tail on the doggy." It's very easy and a lot of fun. Our D.O.G., Diamond may not, however, agree. My very good buddies
Skeeter and LC came over with the best treats (Pounce and Hills! Yum!)! We all shared some and we were glad that Skeeter was allowed out from being grounded (he bit his sister LC on the tail). They both joined in on a game of "turn the shower curtains into confetti" that
Riley and Tiki taught us. I recommend this game because it brings out the artistic qualities in us cats.
Monte showed us a great party game that I had never heard of before. Did you know you can stuff you fake mousies in the garbage disposal? Me neither!!! But lemme' tell ya', this is one cool game!
Me and
Victor and
Beau Beau and
Jeter sat on the back of the couch and freaked out the neighbors. They all thought they were seeing quad! It was a riot to see the xpressions on their faces. We'll have to do that to the 'rents some night after they've had a glass of wine!
You all should try the "sheet mice" game. It wears everyone out and it worked well on the
furballs - Zoey was grateful for that (so was
Tara - she had to babysit her brother
Kavan)! My new friend
Skittles taught us all kitty yoga after a great deal of catnip. We cats are not as coordinated as we get credit for after a lot of 'nip. Trust me on that one! And what's a party without some of your great friends bringing special food?
Sammy and Miles came loaded (not loaded like you're thinking!) with 'nip AND cupcakes. My new friends
Astrid Kashim and Othello helped me pass it all around. I have to give special thanks to
The Cat Realm who brought special gifts for my 'rents. They'll find them with their noses!
Dragonheart was nice enough to come all the way from Germany! He has great toys and we are enjoying them a great deal.
I've saved the best for last. You may or may not know that I have a weird kind of "thing" for
Tripper the Psyko Stray Cat. I have always been attracted to the more dangerous and exciting kind of guys. Anyway Tripper came to the party and he brought "Hello Kitty" party hats that he stole from his brother
Skeezix! Isn't that cool in a dangerous kind of way? Sigh! He even showed up with a cold in his nose! ACHHHHHOOOO! Oops, sorry...
But thanks everykitty - that was a blast and now I need to go and hide cause I hear Uncle Dougy, he sounds a little upset...
ps - I forgot - the very handsome
Henry stopped by to introduce himself. We all loved him!
