The Rudy Report

HiDeHo HiDeHay kitties! It's me - RUDY! with your Rudy Report! Seeing me chow down really makes the 'rents happy. I was supposed to go and see Dr. Wendy today for my final Hemobartinollis check, but the appointment got moved to this Friday. Yay! Mommy is sure I have gained back all of the weight that I lost and I really seem to be back to my ol' orange menace self. Do you know what I did this weekend (besides eat)? I jumped up on the dining room table and almost made a big mess. The 'rents put a red tablecloth on the table and I forgot about that. When I jumped the tablecloth slid and I almost made everything on the table come crashing down, including a Pepe LaPew cookie jar that my Mommy is pretty fond of. oops... it was a good thing that Mommy was sitting there to grab it or I would have been in a bit of a pickle.
Here in God's deep freeze we are supposed to get about a foot or two of snow tonight. This is the time of year when the 'rents get a little cabin fever and start talking about how nice it would be to see a little springtime in the air. I know I'd like to see a little deck time and some fresh catnip. But, I am afraid that's a few months off. So in the meantime, I'll keep chowing down. One last thing kitties -

There is nothing better than a warm blankie on top of a radiator when the temperature is 3 degrees outside. I'm such a lucky girl. Now if I can just get Mommy to leave my delicious toesies alone...step off Mommy, I need my beauty sleep!

I Taste Good!

Greeting and salutations kitties! Here I am, RUDY! with your Rudy Report! Here in Gods deep freeze, we've been hanging out in the kitchen watching Mommy cook things. She made a lot of stuff, some of it was good, some of it was not something I would rate high on the kitty scale of nommy. Brownies are nothing I'd ask her to give a repeat performance on, but pork ribs, make 'em again! She made potato pancakes and I was sort of lukewarm about those. It is a lot of fun snoopervising and she's very entertaining to watch.

It is freezy cold here and I feel so bad any animals who are stuck outside. Daddy feeds the birds and the squirrels, I watch them chow down and they seem fine with the weather.

Next Monday I go to see the lovely Dr. Wendy for my (hopefully) last Hemobart check-up. Given the fact that I run around and play like my tail is on fire and I eat like there is no tomorrow, I am hoping for a great report. If the report is good, it's bad. Why? Because I'll have to endure a grooming. Since I am less than pristine with my grooming habits, I'll need to make an appointment with Tiffany, my personal groomer and get all sleek and de-matted.

It's me, bad kitty, er, ah, I mean Rudy, with the Rudy Report!

I got in trouble this weekend. I was feeling very frisky and chased my sisters. A lot. I may have even ambushed and attacked them. I might have even pounced a little. Even Diamond was getting tired of breaking up all of the little kitty spats that I started.

I blame Spring. I think I have Spring fever and a lot of energy that needs to be burned off OUT ON THE DECK where we are not allowed because there is still snow and ice on it. Stoopid snow. Stoopid ice...

Snowbound!

Wow! Kitties, I have to tell you that here in in O Hi O, the vacation spot of the world, we have a blizzard. We are snowed in! The 'rents can't get out of the house! YAY! There are drifts all up and down our big street and our driveway. Looks like all of the big plans for shopping and errands and stuff will not be happening anytime soon. Daddy is still painting the living room and Mommy is using some words from my bad word list because she was supposed to go out and get some rugs and curtains and stuff to decorate when he was finished.

It's snowing in O Hi O. A lot. A whole bunch. Mucho snow. I sit in the window and snicker at Diamond when he goes outside. I am so happy I have litter boxes at my disposal. And radiators. Radiators rock!

Thursday Thirteen - Chilly Photos

Mommy has abandoned us to travel for her work, so I thought I would show you 13 photos of when we got to go out on our chilly deck last week.

Even though the sun was shining, our furs got pretty cold! Powder and I are doing our meatloaf impression to stay warm.

Newsflash -it's cold and snowy here in O Hi O! Big shockeroonie, right? I have been staying warm by furring up the new furniture.
There's been a rumor around here for a few weeks that I am going to have to go to the groomers and get the mats out of my butt. I remember last year when that happened. It was not a lot of fun. At least the groomer is a nice lady. More on this to follow...
Mommy and Daddy slow cooked BBQ ribs yesterday. We got a little (sauceless) taste and Mmm Mmm good!
I have not been being mean to Parker - but she had the nerve to challenge me to stare down on Friday! Daddy broke it up before it got physical - and between you and me, I think she's planning some kind of revenge for the Boo-boo I gave her. Do you think I should be worried about this?

What I Woke Up To...

Easy Like Sunday ...

...started Saturday night. The 'rents left the coziness of our home on Saturday morning for a snowy fun-filled day of getting a new muffler and brake system on the car and then they shopped for furniture for the living room. I thought that they were crazy - it was wicked bad out there! But off they went and when they returned I was ready to snuggle and help get them all warm again. And the thanks I get for this unselfish gesture? I get a picture of me and my beautiful blue eye all laser-ee!

Easy Like Sunday

Four more days of being good. But that will be easy 'cause it's Sunday and the 'rents are baking cookies today. I can snoopervise and maybe even get some extra treats by looking extra cute. It's very cold and windy here in O Hi O, and it's shaping up to be a white Christmas!

But you know what's wonderful? Today is Daisy's 4th birthday! All of us kitties in chilly O Hi O hope she has a very warm and loving birthday! Skeezix sent her flowers! Isn't that romantic? Happy Birthday Daisy!
