My pathetic kittie look. (how am I doing?)

Hey kitties! Here's to a new week. It's me - RUDY! With your Rudy Report. Parker wants me to thank all of you who made her birthday commentathon a success, she had over 170 birthday wishes and that means that we raised over $42 to send to Wayside Waifs. The 'rents are going to even it up to $50 and send it to them in memory of our friends Fat Eric, Luxor, Molly and little Wintergreen.
I've heard a terrible rumor that has me a little upset. It seems that the 'rents think they need a vacation! And yesterday Mommy got out her suitcase and started to go through her "vacation clothes". This does not look good and rumor has it that Friday morning they are leaving us for Lake Tahoe! Why would anyone want to go near all that water? Why?!?!

Mommy says this is why...

Mommy says that no one should feel sorry for us as our most favorite sitter is staying here while they are gone. I say that I am going to milk this for all it is worth! Mommy also says that she and Daddy really need a little "'rent time". Whatever... 'rents can be so weird.
Stay cool kitties, it's Monday and for 'rents that seems to make them less happy, give 'em a purr or two to make them feel like Saturday!

They Say It's My Birthday!

Thanks to Zoolatry - what a wonderful picture of me!

Hi there! I know I don't look a day over five, but today I become nine! So here's the deal, I'd like to celebrate with a commentaton to honor the memory of our blogosphere friends who ran off to the Bridge this week. Here's what my 'rents have agreed to do - we will donate 25 cents per comment to our favorite shelter, Wayside Waifs. And we will make the donation in memory of sweet Fat Eric, gorgeous Luxie, delicate Wintergreen and beautiful Molly. I think that they would like that, don't you? We will accept multiple comments from a family, for instance, if I commented, then Rudy came back and commented (as if the little Orange Menace could spell - HaHaHaHa!...oops, sorry), I would count that as two. The commentathon will run until August 20th 11:59 PM Eastern time. That's about it for the rules, so let's have a little fun, shall we?
If the 'rents of these wonderful kitties happen to read this - I hope your hearts begin to heal in time. All of here at Casa de Parker want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

They Say It's My Birthday!

Hi Kitties and everyone! It's my 8th birthday! Well maybe not exactly today, but this is the day we chose a few years ago to celebrate! I want to say thanks so much to Zoolatry for the wonderful photos - you've made my day so much brighter! Help yourself to the nip on the table and the HAM!!! in the dining room - let's party!
Thanks to all of my friends in the blogosphere - you can always me laugh and smile and purr and I can't imagine a better bunch of buddies in the world. Your happys are my happys and your sads are my sads. I wish I could give every kitty out there a great big formerly feral smooch to say thanks for being you!

A Lotta Love Pet Rescue Inc - Nonprofit Profile (Lima)
Here's where I need your help kittes - I am having a commentathon today for this great cause - A Lotta Love Pet Rescue is a local O Hi O charity that provides senior citizen families with pet food so that they can keep their pets and not have to worry about choosing between food for their pets or food for themselves. The rescue is running out of money and fears that it may not be able to continue past October. I want to help this great charity - so today from Midnight to Midnight I will donate 25 cents per comment to A Lotta Love Pet Rescue. So please, help me help these nice people and leave me a comment! I hope that I can make a little difference and help feed some kitties and woofies and buns and birds and, well, whatever pet these seniors have! Formerly Feral Friday - We Pity The Kitties!

Hi-ya' Kitties! I'm taking back my blog!

It's Friday, I'm formerly feral and I have things to say! First of all, we sent our little donation to The Beaufort Community Cat Project - we had 80-something comments, so we just rounded up and counted on Mommy to be her usual math-impaired self. They got $25, which might buy a little food or maybe pay for a spay or neuter. That was a lot of fun!
Mommy still feels like the guy in Jethro Tull's Aqualung (the snotty part, not the rest of it!), but she's better than she was. She still managed to put on a heckofa' party for the calicos! See what we had to snack on?
For those of you who are not familiar with 3 Dog Bakery, it's a Kansas City taste treat for dogs and cats. When we lived there we would get special birthday cakes and treats. We miss it a lot and Mommy surprised us with We Pity the Kitties cat treats in Chicken flavor! Heaven! AND we got to wash them down with catmilk! Later there was nip and playing with our tinsel wands, all in all a great celebration!
Here's wishing you a wonderful Friday and a sunny, treat filled weekend. We have big plans. They are to do NOTHING! Just naps and deck time and smoochies!

Happy 11th Birthday Puff and Powder!

My Calico Sisters are 11 years old today! You can read about how they came to be the first cats of our happy little family here. I'm so very proud to call them my sisters!

Commentathon!

Today is the day I celebrate my Mommy. Her birthday is today - she's passed her half a century mark and is grateful for each day. I am grateful for her and for her passion for helping animals and beans. I wanted to get her a big present, but she said she would rather do something else. She says that she has everything she needs; Daddy, us kitties and Diamond Doggie. We have a nice place to live, enough food to eat and we have love. Really, when you think about it, she's right. We have everything a family could want.
So, in the face of the tragedy that has happened to Monty Q's family, Mommy wants to have a Commentathon. For every comment that is left today, we're gonna' donate 25 cents toward Sprout's final medical expenses.
There are not a lot of rules - you need to have a blog or be a member of Catster or Dogster to comment. If you are a multi-cat/dog/goat/hamster/gerbil/whatever you are - each creature's comment will count (even beans!). Here's what we would like you to comment on -
