The Rudy Report

Hey kitties - it's ME - RUDY! With your Rudy Report. I am trying very hard to be a good big brother to Parker. As you can see I let her nap next to me in front of the warm and toasty fire. The 'rents are proud of me because I hardly ever tease or chase her. She still has her famous appetite, but she is still skinny. She does not walk fast but she can still jump up on the sofa and radiators. The bed is a little high for her now, so Daddy carries her up the stairs and helps her on to the bed. She still enjoys sleeping by the 'rents heads all night long. She's in no pain, but Mommy says that she is slowly beginning to fade. We all make the most of our time together and Parker loves it when Mommy shares her dinner with her. I think that is the favorite time of the day for her. We thank you for your kind comments, prayers, purrs and encouraging emails. They brighten our days. We also thank you for supporting Parker's hissing and swatting out Diabetes - what a wonderful thing to do!
Soon it will be the day where mommy makes turkey - now that's one of my favorite days!
Keep those tails high kitties and keep praying for my little sis - she plans on being around for a long time. We pray that she gets her wish.
Smoochies from Parker! Purrs from me!

The Rudy Report

Snug as a bug in a rug...

G'Day kitties, here I am, RUDY! With your Rudy Report. Oh the joys of a Ham-Mick. Naps are better in them, they make you feel like you are floating on a soft cloud full of love and peace. And that's what I did for a lot of the weekend, I napped and snacked. The 'rents were generous with some awesome pot roast tastes and I keep eating like a little piggy. Mommy is so happy about this! Daddy had a fun Sunday watching his Bears and Mommy cooked and baked and generally hung out in the kitchen with us while the cold O Hi O weather reminded us how lucky we are in our forever home.
I overheard that I am going to go back to see Dr. Wendy on January 31st. I am OK with this as I feel great and don't mind showing Dr. Wendy how well I am doing. My newest game is batting leaves off of our Boston Fern. It's so much fun, I don't understand why Daddy gets annoyed when I do it. 'Rents, who knows what makes them tick...
Anyhow kitties, I hope your Monday is wonderful, I am planning on helping Daddy cook some pork chops. Maybe if I put on my cute face I'll get a taste or two...or three.
Keep your tail held high and have the best Monday possible. Peace out.

It's Days Are Numbered...

Oh lovely fire place! How we will miss you when you get turned off, but Spring and Summer nights will bring open windows and warm breezes...

Thursday 13 - The Heaven of 4 Ham-Micks!

Last week Mommy got a very nice e-mail from Millie's Mom. Millie saw what a tough time I was having trying to get some time in our new Ham-Mick that Mommy got for ME from Forty Paws. Millie's Mom said that she had got three Ham-Mick's for Millie's dog cousins, but the doggies did not use them. So, Millie's Mom wanted to send them to us!!! Isn't that nice? Isn't that generous? Isn't that just about the nicest thing ever?
Well, yesterday the lady in the bloo shorts brought them to our house in O Hi O and Diamond barked at her, but she left them for us anyway.
Daddy put them together and we wasted no time inspecting them.
We love them.
We have not fought over them.
We each have our very own HAM-MICK!
Millie and Mom Lynne - this smooch is for you -
SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCH!
It matches my furs!
They're too small for Diamond Doggie!

So many decisions!

Yellow is nice!

It's a Ham-Mick party!

We are SOOOOOO happy!

Tattle Tail Tuesday

First of all, thanks to all of you who sent get-well purrs to Mommy. It worked and she is much better today!
Some itty-bitty kitty was bad and got on the dining room table yesterday!
And some not-so-itty-bitty kitty finally got her turn in the Ham-Mick while Puff was being a good nurse and keeping Mommy company on the couch!
