Our Inside Trees

Our big Christmas tree was awesome. We loved to play in front of it. Yesterday we had to say good-bye to our tree and watch it go back outside. It was getting too dry to be safe.
The glow of the lights were so pretty. Rudy liked to hide behind the presents.

I liked to patrol and sniff the branches.

We still have our little fake tree in the living room. It gets to stay until Sunday. It's good to hide under while keeping an eye on the 'rents. Sigh... I'm going to miss the holidays.

Your tree was wonderful for sure. It must be hard to say good-bye to it. Would it be silly to be looking forward to next years's Christmas already? Probably...

Wonderful trees! We have ours up for the next week then they go out to mulch the roses.

Enjoy them while you can!!

Your trees are so pretty, Parker Pie. I like to hide out under our tree, it is a great spot :)

Our tree comes down on New Year's Day ... :sigh: But at least we have Spring to look forward too, and lighter nights.

Purrs for Rudikins.

It is sad to see the decorations come down. We had fun batting the toys off of the tree. You do look happy sitting under the tree. Take care.

your trees are beautiful. I love how you have the live tree displayed by the bay window. I am a huge fan of bay windows.

I always find it a little sad when the decorations start coming down...but....there is always Valentine's Day to decorate for! :)

Ahhh, Parker, that's what happened to our tree and so it was time to dis-mantle...now we will be finding pine needles until next year throughout the house :)

We're going to miss ours too. We think sleeping under the tree is fun!! We really like all the lights too.

Your trees are (were) very pretty!! We love our trees too...'specially Ernie...he has climbed the big tree in the living room about a hundred times now...much to mom's dismay.

I know what you mean. My mommy took ours down too.

We hate to see the Christmas tree and all the decorations go away for another year/

The Monkeys said... December 30, 2010 10:24 AM

We only had a fake tree this year, but we can imagine the beautiful smell of a real tree! We hope Christmas comes around faster this year!

You have two trees?! Oh way cool. Ichiro would have twice as much to make a mess of. Ours will come down on Saturday too...

Cory said... December 30, 2010 12:06 PM

Our tree will probably come down Saturday or Sunday and then the Boy Scouts will come and take it away. Sigh. Nigel is still parked underneath it 24/7. He adores it.

Mariodacat said... December 30, 2010 1:28 PM

your tree was so pretty too, but we wouldn't want your house to catch fire from a dead tree. Our fake one is till up, but M & D say it's coming down probably New Year's Day. I will miss it.

I always wonder at humans, taking all that time to put up the trees and then taking it all back down again just a few weeks later. With all that work, you'd think they would just leave them up all the time.

Your trees are lovely Parker. We always gets a little sad when we has to put ours away...

Your trees look lovely. Ours would come down on January 5th except that mum never got round to putting it up this year because she wasn't feeling well.

It's always a little sad when the trees go down.

Kaltsas Kats said... December 30, 2010 10:27 PM

What a pretty tree. Our tree is fake and Mom says it is coming down this weekend along with the village since Nemo just likes to lay on it. We finally got to open our Secret Paws gift tonight so check our blog tomorrow to see how much we like everything. Thank you for such a great gift!

That is such a pretty tree. We always like seeing your Christmas (and other holiday) decorations. Your beans do a great job!
We can't have a real tree cause mommy is allergic to evergreen. Isn't that bizarre?

We hope Rudy is still doing well. purrrrrrrrrrrrs

Happy New Year to you all!
