It's Days Are Numbered...

Oh lovely fire place! How we will miss you when you get turned off, but Spring and Summer nights will bring open windows and warm breezes...

Our fireplace is what we will miss about our house in the Pecan Orchard most of all, Parker! The Swamp has No Fireplace!

Oh Parker, we know what you mean! Our fireplace is on less and less these days...and we're gonna miss it too! But we can't wait for warm weather and open windows!!

We know what you mean! Our house is passive solar and the sun has been shining now for a awhile so we haven't had a fire in about five days! The sun is scrumptious but once it goes down we think the fire should be lit pronto!

we wish we hadded one! it looks great!

We don't have one, but we bet it's great in the cold weather. Don't worry, spring and summer will pass far too quickly and you'll have your fireplace on again soon enough. (Our human says UGH! to that thought!)

You two sure look cozy if not snuggly. So you'll trade the fireplace for warm sunbeams. It's all good!

We are preparing to say goodbye too. A recent cold snap is allowing us to get in a farewell party.

Bring on spring!

Mom doesn't light our fireplace, but we have pretty lights and candles around and inside it.

That ham-mick looks cozy.

We haven't had our fireplace on all year...gas is too expensive. My next house is going to have a wood burning fireplace because that looks like a great place for napping!

JC said...

I will turn our fireplace on in the living room (gas) for the kittens ... they will be there napping away. You looks so cute !!!

What a great picture of you in your ham-mick. Too bad your fireplace has to be turned off but we are looking forward to the warm weather. Have a great day.

When the fog rolls in off the ocean here on Summer nights, we might get a fire or two. Otherwise we'll sure miss our fireplace too.

But like you said...open windows, warm breezes, BRING IT ON! We will miss our woodstove too, but we'll take warm weather anyday over this cold crap! And Mom and Dad are sick and tired of the DUST!

You both look so cuzy snoozing by the fire. But, pretty soon the windows will be open and we get to hear the birdies singing again. I can't wait.

You guys look so adorable in the picture. We don't have a fireplace, but we are glad that Spring is finally coming :). My kitties usually sleep in their beds. Jackie and Shadow always nap together and Flip wants his own space, but occasionally he sleeps with Shadow. :) I am always super thrilled if I see them napping together. Have a wonderful day!

Thats too bad about the fireplace, but open windows are good too. We had ours get opened today. The deck door was opened briefly, but Iza decided ta claw on the screen, so it got closed fast!

We will miss ours too. It was lit at the end of October when the Beans came back from Hawaii, and has been alight ever since. It will have to get a lot warmer before mum lets it out.

A Hammy in front of the fireplace! How sweet is that. But Springs and Summers has nice stuff too. Like Hammy next to Bird TV!
