The gals didn't even have to wait in the waiting room. By the time Mommy checked them in, off to the exam room they went. Puff continued to try to be very, very small and slink away, but once again her plan was foiled. Dr. Joe poked and prodded and pressed and looked at her toofies and weighed her and gave her a rabies shot. Puff was pronounced VERY healthy for an 11 year old kitty and her toofies are perfect!
Powder was subjected to all of the same things once Mommy extracted her from her PTU. Dr. Joe had a few extra surprises up his sleeve for our littlest sister. Powder not only had a rabies shot, she got a steroid shot to see if it may help her "anxiety itching". You see, sometimes Powder gets so anxious she will scratch herself 'till she has a Boo-Boo. I've talked about her shyness and anxiety a lot and both Dr. Joe and our last VET the wonderful Dr. Sundahl have tried everything to make Powder more comfortable being Powder. We'll see if this helps. Powder got a great report - and her toofies are perfect as well. They even looked at our ::whispers:: poop! And they said that looked good! Beans are strange, aren't they? Puff and Powder were put back in their PTU's (they were thrilled to get back in them!) and Mommy gave the VET many green papers. The VET gave her Puff and Powder's report card and rabies tags and back in the car they went. After 7 more minutes of a calico chorus everyone was home. Powder went straight-away under the bed and Puff went directly to the litter box. Daddy said that the experience must have scared the, well you can just guess what he said.
I am glad that my sisters are in great health. I hope the shot helps Powder, she came out from under the bed and had a nice lunch. She took a nap on a radiator and was all lovey-dovey with Mommy. I guess all is forgiven and all's well that ends well.
Now let's get back to the business of getting ready for Santa!

Thank you for the report on your sifurs vet visit. It's such a good thing to have a good vet nearby. We are impressed at Powder and Puffs good health and that their teeths are in such a good condition. Chilli is just over a year old and already developing tartar. Great to hear that all is forgiven at your house. Enjoy the Christmas decoration!
Many purrs, Siena
We are glad that Puff and Powder both got a good report. We hope the shot helps Powder's itchies too. I sometimes scratch my chin until I have a booboo too, and lick my tummy until it is bald. The vet thinks it is habit with me. Mum says I have OCD.

We're glad that Puff and Powder got good V-E-T reports. We hope that shot helps Powder. Sniffie sometimes pulls her furs out when she gets nervous.

Great to hear the geezers are healthy! My vet bill includes a history of my weight! So embarrassing!
Oh that is good to get all the yucky stuff done and out of the way before the holidays. We are glad to learn you are both so purrfectly healthy! That is the bestest gift for Christmas.

Yay! We're happy that everything is purrfect for Puff and Powder! And now that's over with for another year!!
But we hate to be tricked into the PTU too...for some reason, we've never learned.....
Glad to hear that the girls are PURRfect ..
We are very happy to hear that the girls got such a good report at the vet. Your mum must take care of your teeth very well- at the clinic mum works in, it is very unusual for kitties over age 5 to get such good reports on them.
We are very glad that your sisters are in great health. We hope the shop helps Powder calm some.
Glad they are healthy! nothings better than a healthy cat!
YAY for the great report cards!!!!!!!!!!
We knew it! Perfect!!! We love all the drama about getting in the carriers...
Glad it was a good visit to the Vet! Hopefully the girls are getting all the stinky Vet smell off. When I had my teeth cleaned I had to give myself a bath for an hour before Busby would come near me with out getting all puffed up!
Purrs, Raymond
glad things went fairly well. i think puff and powder should have gotten treats when they got back home though...
Mom & Dad make a good tag team! Glad to hear the ladies are well and healthy. Hope the Depo-Medrol works, sounds like it helped calm her already. Mom used to get a shot of that when her system would go into overload and she'd swell from summer allergies.
Holy carp....It costs us 44 green papers just to get in the door at the vet and 32 for a shot!
YAY for the good report!! Momma laughed when she readed 'bout the "calico chorus"....she gets that wif us too! We try to see who can sound more pathetic! hehe!! She REALLY likes being in the car wif us when we're moofing cross-country!

I'm glad both Puff and Powder got good reports! I always try to shrink into a little ball when I go to the vet's office, too. It never works.

PeeEssWoo: We are glad to see the visit went well!
Wonderful report on the geezers, I mean elderly felines. That is so traumatic for kitties. Glad all is well now.

Powder sure is a tiny little girl! Glad you both got clean bills of health. Mom says she wants to move to your town as your vet bills are MUCH cheaper than here! Is that your Christmas presents?
We're so glad that Puff and Powder got as clean bill of health. Yay!
Oh poor calico girls. We're glad you've already forgiven your 'rents. It looks like Powder teleported out of her PTU in that picture.
It's been quite a day for your sisters! We're happy all went well and the report card is a good one! I'm a little worried...I saw a "reminder" postcard come in the mail from my V-E-T. I've taken care of it though. Glogirly will never find it.

That sounded troomatic! Our The Big Thing has a trick of PYU's. He puts them open over the table and carries us to them. There is no place ta go put in.
An when the PTU is on the vet table, he reaches in to grab us by the hips an just slides us right out backwards.
Darn, Beins are tricky!
oh yeah, we hate going to the VET too. I pee in my carrier every time.
Have fun getting ready for Christmas.
Vets...yuckie! We hate going to them stinkin vets.
Wot a full day they had. it sounded trawmatic. We're glad they're OK.
