Yawn...Oh, hey kitties! Is it time for the Rudy report?
I guess so! Well first of all it's time for a flower lesson. A few kitties asked us on Saturday if the pretty purple posies that we posted for Photo Hunters (whew! That's a lot of P's for one kitty to say all at once!) really were called Johnny Jump Ups.They really are! You can read all about them here.
In other O Hi O news, the 'rents went flower shopping. I'm sure there will be a lot of pretty photos to show you in the future. Daddy even planted his tomatoes! He's so proud that he grew them from seeds. Mommy is praying that little bunnies or Tick and Tock don't think that they are the buffet special! She says that bunnies and squirrels love tiny little plants and that Daddy will be very unhappy if his plants get on the critter menu! I don't care as long as they leave my baby Catnip alone!
One last piece of news, I heard the 'rents saying that they are taking a vacation next month. They are going to a place called Lake Tahoe - it is very far from O Hi O and we will have our sitter staying here! Whatever you do, don't tell Parker! You know what a Daddy's girl she is - this is gonna rock her world!
Peace out kitties - this is Rudy signing off...

Tahoe is practically out by us! :).
Where are you in Ohio Parker? We will be in Cincinnati and surrounding in June. Also are there any famous places the folks should photograph for Find Chey Friday?
Hmmm! Mom and human sister have camped at Lake Tahoe! She says the lake was very very cold... too cold for a swim! Love the flower picture... also Rudy!

Hi Rudy! The bunnies have gotten to some of mom's plants already...the plants haven't even had a chance to make it all the way out of the ground yet...and mom's not happy!
Lake Tahoe is very nice...at least that's what my mom says. I hope the bunnies stay away from your plants. You kitties will have to chase them away!
I wondered about the flower name too, thanks for clearing that up. Sounds like a realy lovely place your folks are going to. I will keep the secret, dont worry.
Hugs Ginger Jasper x
The bunnies around here would always eat mom's black eyed susans.
Can I say I'm very impressed with you being able to say that second sentence!
We call them Pansies around here, and people plant them in the winter.
Happy Monday to you all.

How many kinds of catnip will you plant this year, Rudy? With all the parties you throw for us, you'll need several kinds! And Catmint, too! Poor Parker, she's such a Daddy's girl..she misses him so.
Rudy, your blue cushion makes your eyes pop, and they look even lovelier than usual. Your parent's vacation sounds like fun:)
oh i hope the bunnies don't get your nip rudy! have you ever heard of rabbit stew???

Cool! Johnny Jump ups are in the same family as pansies! That's why they look so much alike! We hope you like your sitter!
Those are such cute little flowders!
Way too early to plant stuff here. It will be another month for us.
we won't say a werd to Parker!
Poor Parker. Our lips are sealed.
We call them Pansies too, and the smaller ones Violas.
Woo! You got MomBean to snort her lunch-it was pawsome!
We really enjoyed seeing those flowers yesterday:) We call them Violas.
My daughter had planted a couple of acorns in the hopes of bringing an oak tree to my parents to plant in their yard, and I looked outside just as a chipmunk finished nipping off the last one's head. Grrr!
I bet Diamond already told her!

Oh, my Mommie and Daddie have been to Lake Tahoe many times when they lived in California. It's real pretty there!
Our rents planted some vegetables in our garden this weekend. If all goes well we will be busy picking vegetables this summer. ~Socks,Scylla, Charybdis & Fenris
i gave my mom johnny jump ups for mothers day many years ago. i think there are still some that show up in my parents' yard after all these years...
tahoe is a nice place.
Is it raining in o HI o today? It's super dreary in the Mitten State. Thank you for the orange kitteh and johnny jump up pics to cheer us up. :)
Love,
Tazo
We hope the bunnies stay away from the garden. Our Mom doesn't worry about bunnies 'cause everything she plants gets deaded from her black thumb!
Woo. I luv that Dave's Garden site. We learn all kinds of cool stuff there.
The bunnies here (Oswald and the bunnies who rent condos from him in OUR yard) have eaten poppies, portulaca, entire tulip bulbs (though it could have been Bambi who ate those....) and three entire Oak Leaf Hydrangea bushes. Mom's trying to figure out what to try to plant this year - or how much Liquid Fence she'll have to douse it all with. Woo, Springtime.
Luv,
Dave
Well, you had better hope Parker doesn't read your post today Rudy.......She is a very smart girl, she will know anyway when she spots the clothes carriers!=^Y^=Teak
