Raindrops Kept Falling On Our Roof!

These little mushrooms are growing IN OUR DOORMAT by the entrance to our back porch. I think this is a sure sign that Kansas City had plenty of rain last weekend. I think that's another reason Rudy was so cranky, we had very little sun. We look forward to sunbaths on the porch. When we don't get them, we get cranky!

Rudy appears unapologetic.

I'm keeping vigilant. He's lucky he didn't get the Paw of Death!

Thank-you for all of your concern. We seem to have calmed down and called a truce. Mommy thinks it's 'cause they were moving a lot of things around the house and packing. They quit doing that and are going to leave the rest to the movers. We'll have a break in the action for a month or so. I suppose the real fun will be the actual move. We are going to drive with Mommy and Daddy. We all have our own kennel and we should be fine. All of us have moved once before so Mommy and Daddy have an idea how to work with us to cause the least amount of stress. It's going to be a long summer...

I'm glad that you will get a break from all of that packing. Willow and I have always lived in the same house so we don't know about what that is like at all.

Parker, I hope Rudy has settled down. I've moved twice and I didn't like it one bit. On my last day in my old house, I hid behind the fridge and my momma felt desperate. She thought I had runned away for ever. She couldn't believe I could even fit back there. Keep that paw ready just in case Rudy needs to be put in his place. I really hopes you can all stay calm until your settled in your new home.

WE think Kansas needs to stop hogging the rain...

Please do not worry about the move Parker. You need to be calm then Rudy will be calm and then mommie will be calm.

Save the paw of Death :-)

WOW, I'm thinking it takes alot of rain to make mushrooms grow in your doormat!

I hope you and your siblings are having a better day today. Be nice to each other.

Parker, we'll send you some of our sunshine. It's 90* here today.

My human just got done watering the garden and is glad to know that rain is coming our way.

But speaking as a cat, I can totally understand what Rudy was going through! A cat without sunshine is not a happy cat.

That's totally hilarious that you have 'srooms growing in your doormat!!! We probably just have mold since it's rained for about 40 days and 40 nights here....

Yup, stress will crank poodins out.

Pee Sss. Tell your Mom to put on her list to take some of your own city water along on the trip so you don't get tummy upset from strange waters.

That's a whole lot of rain. We've been dry for MONTHS and it's now fire season. I'd rather have mushrooms on the porch mat ...

I hope that Rudy calms down and quits pickin' fights with you ... Or else you're gonna have to give him "The Paw"!

Happy to hear Rudy's condition, and hope he will getting better.

Wow, it must be very wet to have mushrooms growing on your doormat. We have lots of rain here too. We had a few hours of sunshine yesterday, but otherwise it has been raining for days.

I really like the mushrooms growing in your doormat. You must have had a lot of rain. I'm sorry that Rudy is cranky from lack of sunshine. I am glad that the moving stuff has stopped and you will have a breather before the actual move.

A truce is good sometimes, everybody gets some rest! We hope the sun will be out soon, those mushrooms look kinky - on a doormat - that isn't right...
