Looking Back At last Year

When I get to the bottom of my crunchies, the bowl says that "Life Is Good." The bowl is right. But a year ago, none of us would have agreed with the bowl. To see why, click on the linky below Rudy-Toot's photo.

Happy Anniversary To Our Mommy and Daddy!

Puff giving her "love eyes"
Dear Mommy and Daddy, wherever you are...it's me, Puff. I wanted to let you know that we are fine. Our sitter is taking great care of us, so you have nothing to worry about. Since I am the "original cat" of the family I wanted to wish you a very happy 10th wedding anniversary from all of us. I also wanted to thank you for adopting me and Powder two days after your wedding. I think you have to agree, we were the best gifts that you ever received!
So have a wonderful day, and we will see you later this week.
All of our love, Puff, Powder, Rudy, Parker and Diamond Doggie.

Formerly Feral Friday - Emphasis On Formerly!

It's a big day here in O Hi O! First, here's the update on Rudy - he still has all of his furs, matts and all! He was "too much to handle" to give him a shave without sedation. Soooooo, he got his shots (Rabies and FVRCPC), got his bloods stolen and got to come home. BUT, next Thursday he goes back. He'll be sedated and then he's going to get groomed. This V.E.T. thinks that he may get away without a shave, but she can't be sure till he's on the table and sedated.

"Help!"

The back of disrespect at the V.E.T.'s, 12lbs, 12ozs of pure orange disrespect!

So he sidepawed the shears for another week.
But here's the real cool stuff!
I have been on Catster for a year today! If you look at my sidebar I have all of our badges lined up in a row! Feel free to visit us there - we'd love for you to see us in our Catster glory! I also asked Mommy to change my header for me. Lots of love to Zoolatry for that header- most of my cool stuff I owe to them! Mommy also asked them to do a portrait of me and here's the result.

This beautiful photo is one of 2 that were designed. I will show you the other one next week. Mommy is going to have them framed! My Blogoversary is next Wednesday - that's when I'll show you the other portrait! If you would like to help some friends in need and get a great portrait too, just click here. It's so wonderful to be part of a big, loving kitty community. I'm such a lucky kitty! Smooches to all of you, enjoy your Friday that isn't feral!

Voting ends tomorrow in Round 2 of Wozog's "Which Cat is Cuter?"! Please go here and vote for me! I'd appreciate it - if I would win, the proceeds will go to Churchill the kitty.

Tuesday Two Shots - Anniversary Wishes

The last time Mommy came home for a visit Daddy had a surprise waiting for her - a dozen red roses for an early anniversary gift. As you can see from these photos, a new camera would make a great gift - I think they need to hurry up and get one! Thanks for all of your help with ideas, it won't be long till we make a choice on a camera. But - Today is their real anniversary! Nine years of wedded bliss! Daddy says that since Mommy travels all of the time, even though they've been married nine years, they've ony lived together for two of those years! Mommy says it's the perfect marriage! They are always happy to see each other. I'm just glad they are my Mommy and Daddy! So...from me, Puff, Rudy, Powder and even Diamond Doggy:

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOMMY AND DADDY - WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH! XOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Freaky Friday!

Mommy and Daddy and me live in a cool part of Kansas City that's called "Brookside." It's smack in the middle of the City and is full of neat stores and restaurants. It's "Artsy Fartsy" as Daddy calls it (sorry Artsy Catsy!). Every May they have an Art Fair that's pretty well known. Mommy and Daddy have a tradition of going there every year to buy an anniversary present for themselves 'cause it falls around when they got married (next Tuesday!). Then they go to a bar called the Brooksider and have a anniversary cocktail! May is a special month for our family 'cause Rudy was born on May 13th, Mommy and Daddy's anniversary is the 15th and they got Puff and Powder on May 17th. Lot's of reasons to be happy and celebrate. So, being the fine art connoisseurs that they both are, here's what they picked out this year:

Kitty Heimlich, by Charlie Podrebarac
As you can see, our home has a sense of humor and cats are the predominant theme throughout. Mommy and Daddy have never been big on "cute" kitty stuff, their tastes are more toward the unusual and colorful aspects of felines. I know they are weird, but I love 'em!
Here are some photos of the three hours it didn't rain at the art fair last weekend:

The best popcorn in the world!

A really bad photo of a cool orange kitty clock

I'm very glad they did not bring this home

Then it started to rain again!

I hope everyone has a peaceful, healing weekend!
