My Idea Of A Manicure

Never mind clippy-claw time, just let me on the deck and I'll take care of my claws thank-you very much. This wood does a very good job of getting rid of the old stuff and it's great for keeping my claws nice and sharp - you hear that Diamond Doggie? I still possess my "Paw of Death"!

  1. Wood is great for keeping claws in shape. Unfortunately, we don't have any good wood to scratch at my house. I DO have a Paw of Death, however - the dog here will attest to that!

  2. Now Parker, you be nice to Diamond! We use our cat tree to keep our clawrs in shape, but that deck looks really nice.

  3. No paws of death here. A previous owner got our front claws pulled out (meanie!). But Mom still has to clippy claws the back ones. Is there a way we can manicure our own? Something we can bunny kick real good?

  4. I came to my forever home back declawed too, but I can bunny kick with the best of them. I sure don't like having the back nails clipped. I put the bitey on M when she tried to do it, he he - but I also have no toothies. So she laughs. Sigh!

  5. Parker you look to be having fun on the deck in the sun and using the wood for your paw-di-cure. We are a little bit naughty too as we use the garden fence for our paw-di-cures and the scratch post too. We think as well going outside does help to wear them down too.

  6. We use our cat tree for manicures. Mom does clippy claws when we start to catch on things....like her skin.

  8. Parker, I think your deck is heavenly for scratching! I don't get clippy claws cuz Johnny sometimes jumps me and he's three times my size. He, on the other hand, gets regular trims. heh heh.

  12. Oh that looks like a great way to get a manicure! We can't go out on our deck to do ours, so we use the wood chair. It looks way more fun on that deck in the sun!!
