Tattle Tail Tuesday

Let me tell you a "tail" about the mighty squirrel hunter Diamond Doggy. Diamond does not care for squirrels, not even a little bit. If he sees one through a window he barks and growls. In this very short video we see Diamond tearing after a squirrel (you have to look very closely to catch a glimpse of the squirrel). In his many years of hunting and chasing, Diamond has never caught a squirrel. What he lacks in skill, he makes up in spirit.

Diamond The Mighty Hunter

I may actually get to post a picture of ME tomorrow!

  9. Great video! Diamond is so fast! The squirrels in our yard just stay in the trees and chatter at us. One of these days......

  10. Ha ha, boy Diamond sure does try. Coco stands and jumps at the bottom of the tree and squeals in rage when she sees a squirrel up there, but she's never scared one so badly that it falls off its branch. She does catch moles and voles and mice, though.

  11. He sure does have a lot of SPIRIT chasing the squirrel. My mama says squirrels are very smart, so tell Diamond to not feel bad.

  12. Dearest Parker,
Them is some real lucky squirrels in your yard...our big brother, Felix, used to bring mommy dead squirrels as presents before he moved into the house.

  18. We give him E for Effort, which means he did a good job of chasing that squirrel, even if he didn't catch it.

  19. Heh heh, that looks like Georgie! She runs out the back door barking her fool head off trying to get those squirrels, but they're too fast for her!

  20. He certainly has enthusiasm. But you have to have to stalk squirel to catch them. I think he lacks in style.

  23. I think Diamond scared the cr*p out of the squirrel and that's why it's so hard to see it run now ;)

  31. Diamond looks like he is having a lot of fun chasing that squirrel. Camie almost took off our Papa's arm when she was first off the track. She was trying to chase a rabbit when she was on a potty break.

  34. I caught a squirrel with my sister Shadow a long time ago. We played tug of war with it and it went ded. Then I chased Mom around the backyard with the tail and made her scream. hehe Dude, there's nothing like catching one. I hope you get one soon!
