Rudy Toots Update

Well kitties, here I am on Sunday, holding Daddy's leg down and trying to get back to my old self. AND I bought myself another trip to see Dr. Joe yesterday morning. So while you are reading this I am back at the kitty Hotel California getting Sub Q fluids and hissing at the staff to spring me out of here.  I gotta' tell you kitties, as much as I love the 'rents -  they were hovering. Over me. It was a little annoying. "Has he eaten? Has he used the box?" Geeeeeezzzzzzz....gimme' a break, will ya? And as far as eating goes, what in Bast's name are you trying to get me to eat? Where's my old stuff? Where's the treats? Where's the tastes of the human food?
Honestly, this new food isn't that appealing to me. And I sorta' feel bad, because my sibs have to make the switch along with me. Truthfully, they are a little hissed off about it. Parker is sure she's going to pass away from starvation, Puff and Powder are being a little more gracious about it. But, there's no bargaining with the 'rents, they are committed to my getting better and not having to go through this again with me or with any of us.Think good thoughts for me kitties and I wouldn't mind if you'd Fed Ex me a roast chicken or a little somethin' somethin'. Here's hoping I get to come home today, much perkier and less hissy.

All for one and one for all! That happens here too sometimes. Special diet or no food after midnight - BLAH.

P.S., Your roast chicken should arrive by Wednesday. I sent it UPS (in a brown, unmarked package so the 'rents won't suspect ;) )

I have sent you ham. It's marked "Books". Don't tell anyone.

Poor Rudy. and Parker, Powder and Puff. Transitioning to new foods is not easy. Thanks to Gandalf's FLUTD, all of the DailyGs are on Hills Prescription C/D, wet and dry.

I couldn't get Gandalf to eat it at all until I put all of them on it and that's all there was to it. Gracie actually loved it right away, far more so than her kitten food, which she hated with a purple passion.

I know you'll be back to your old self soon. GGW&G are all purring real hard for you to be home SOON!

Come home soon sweet Rudy. I know what a bummer it is to be away from home but the 'rents are there watching after you (like it or not..that's how our 'rents are).

Since the ham and chicken are covered and some tuna too.how about a little bacon and scrambled egg? It's going to be in a toy mousie..just pry open the seam. You'd do the same for me.

Rudy, that is terrible about having to eat the un-tasty food - and even worse, the others having to eat it too! Please feel better soon!

P.S. If I had a roast chicken here, I would probably eat it myself... but I would at least think about sending you some!

Oh Hell! Rudy fella you have really been through it and I send you mancatly love and rumbly purrs to put that sucker of a bladder infection away for good. I know how crap these things are and some of the fuuds they made me eat were about as appetising as floor sweepings after a busy day at the gravel and poop factory YUK.

These days I get all wet fuuds and a side dish of Royal Canin Urinary Control High Dilution kibble - it has stuff in it to make us drink more and Gerry and Oliver like it too. It works, we now drink like feeesh and it helps flush out anything that might cause a bladder infection and keeps our pee well diluted. We also each get a sprinkle capsule of Cystaid or Cystease a day.

Hope you soon get back to full Rudy strength matey. Damn those bladders!
