Me and Garfield have to be vewy, vewy quiet. Daddy stayed up late to watch the Blackhawks win the cup. He's sleeping in. Thank goodness Mommy still got up to feed us this morning! Congrats to all of our Chi-town pals on their victory!
So I'm guessing now is NOT a good time to go playing with the light switch on that lovely lamp next to you and accidentally making the whole thing go crashing to the floor. If your Mom hadn't have gotten you breakfast then that might have been a way to get it so keep that in mind the next time they stay up late and watch a box...I don't EVEN get that, but humans are so strange in their habits!! Purrs, Lautrec (and Tiny)
We don't sleep in here either. Too many big mouths that need to be fed and they are all sure they are starving. But we will sure whisper. Congrats on the big win. That is really exciting. Have a nice nap day.
Yes! Great game! The ending was a bit strange because the light never went on and the horn never sounded indicating that there was a goal! Our human nephews live in Chicago and they said the whole city was going wild last night. 49 years is a long time to go without the Stanley Cup. Yay Hawks!
Mama was super happy about the Blackhawks, too! She also continues to wonder how your mom gets to have all kinds of pretty-looking and very breakable stuff on her flat surfaces. hee hee
My human is so clueless about sports she didn't even know what a Blackhawk was! Maybe she would pay more attention if there were professional level Cat Hockey. It's a good thing you got fed - otherwise I'd say that some Cat Hockey practice would have been in order! I'm sure Garfield would have been up for the job as hockey puck.
Our mom was scaring us with all her screaming watching our Blackhawks win. She wasn't even able to fall asleep until 5:30 this morning she was so wound up! She loves hockey!

Yeah, we were thinking that whapping Garfield around might be fun...but maybe not. You're being very good, Parker!
We think you look so purrty next to that lamp! Your little heart tag really shines!

ConCats on your BlackHawks win. Mom is a Flyers fan. :o(
I guess if you are getting fed, it is okay to have someone sleeping in! I think many of our Chicago friends are quite excited!

Oh my, I will bet he really is tired. YAY to his team!
Congrats to the Hawks!! Our mom says she wishes it was the Wings hoisting the Cup, but she's glad one of the original 6 won it!!

It's nice of you to be quiet! I would scratch at this feet and wake him up if I were you!!
You're such a good Kitty Parker. Concatulashuns to your team!
I will be very quiet Parker, but if it was Eric, he would have stomped across our dad's head by now.

So, why is yoo not in da bed wif daddy? We do dat, get mom up to start her day den when she leaves we go sleep wif dad!
Too bad Mommy fed you, cuz then ya would have been justified to jump on Daddy until HE did... MOL!
You'll have to walk on little cat feet!
Don't jump or run too fast, you don't want to be knocking over that pretty lamp.
Mommy has got her hopes pinned now on the Cubs.
Dream on, Mommy.
To Parker's Daddy: Let's keep hoping...! 102 years without a pennant...
Concats to all the Blackhawks fans!
