We had a little fun at the homestead this weekend, Mommy made pork chops for Daddy and we all got teeny tiny tastes! Very yummy! Diamond did not get any because he went to the VET for a nail trim and he had gained 3 pounds! This is NO GOOD because he's got athritis in his rear knees and extra weight makes them hurt more. So...Diamond is on a diet!
And me? I hear rumors that it's my turn to go and see Dr. Joe for my annual visit AND I am going to get groomed. We'll just see about that - they have to catch me first! I HATE getting groomed. Just 'cause I have a few matts doesn't mean I need groomed - right???

We are a little bit sad that you do not enjoy grooming, Rudy. We all love to be brushed! And we are a little bit sad that Diamond was to miss out on the pork tid bits. We hope Parker's report is awesome!
We have got our paws croosed for Parker. That's bad luck that you have to go and get groomed. You should let your mum do it so you don't get mats. Give it a try, it's great, like real good scritches.

We were reading kind of quickly and at first thought your dad gained the 3 pounds and was denied the pork chop. "Pretty strict wife he has" we thought.
But really, Diamond, not good. Dieting isn't fun, but it's a necessary evil sometimes!
