What's Been Goin' On

Hi Kitties...
This year has felt very different here in O Hi O. Me and Mommy have not been on the computer as much because we have been focused on being healthier and moving around and playing. That's a good thing - we feel better and we know that it's the right thing to do. We still visit a lot of you but we don't always comment.
Last week was heartbreaking because we saw three of our good friends leave for the Bridge.

Poo Poo was JB's sister who was much loved by her family. She didn't always get along with everyone but her Mommy loved her deeply just the same. Poo Poo looks a great deal like my sister Puff, she was a very, very beautiful girl and we mourn her passing.
Bow was one of the much loved kitties at Forty Paws. His Maw is the best Maw a kitty could ever hope to have. He was getting sicker and sicker and last week he was lovingly helped to the Bridge. We cried for Bow and for his family. He's going to be dearly missed by everyone.
And then there was sweet, sweet Meep. His brother Buzzerbee fought a hard battle with cancer and left for the Bridge in 2007. We still miss Buzz. Then Meep got two new siblings who helped ease that loss. Bear and Twizzler are wonderful kitties, and now that Meep has left to be with Buzzerbee, they must miss him a great deal. Buzzerbee and Meep's blog was one of the first blogs that me and Mommy started to read. To have them both at the Bridge makes us very, very sad.
There have been a few other things that haven't been great news in the blogosphere and we are praying that the sun comes out, the weather gets kinder and all of us are blessed with some extra peace and love. We hope that Tuesday starts a change in this country where there is more kind and humane treatment of all living things - beans and kitties and doggies.
I'm keeping hope alive in my heart and so is Mommy.
Now go do or say something kind. That's my plan for the future.
Godspeed to my friends who have left for the Bridge. I will miss and remember you.
And to the ones they left behind, I hope that your hearts begin to heal and that your memories of them begin to bring you smiles.
Gentle Smoochies,

It has been a really sad time of late, so many good cats leaving for The Bridge. Spring will come, spirit chilling winds will pass. This year is young yet and will bring about some good things for all.

It is always sad when much loved family and friends leave for the Bridge...and then we get such amazing signs of hope and love like Miss Molly Louise finding her place in the world and providing inspiration to all...the ups and downs of love and life. We are looking forward to Tuesday.

Hi Parker!
Thanks for visiting my blog. As you must know, we also aren't blogging as much. We're trying to post once a week and visit a few blogs a day.

We're all very sad to read about the three loses of our friends. That's just the worse news to read about. We need to go and tell their beans how sorry we are. We're all glad that you're getting healthier. Keep it up Parker.

Love,
Tyler

We also had to skip the blog and visiting our furrends for quite a while now. It's sad but also it's necessary to have kind of break sometimes.

We wish you all the best for 2009 - may you stay healthy, may the changes come and may the sun shine bright on you.

Hugs and Purrs,

Chica & Pumuckl

Hi Parker. That's one disadvantage of the blogosphere...we make more friends, but then lose more friends...i am so glad that you and your Meowmy are spending time getting healthy. That is very good for both of you! We are filled with hope for the coming year, too, even though three of our people friends are having surgery this week and need all our purrrayers.
