Mommy and I had a little argument about posting this photo. I won. She couldn't believe that Daddy brought a TV out to the deck so he could watch the Cubs play baseball and lay on the lounger and do guy things like drink beer and say bad words when the Cubs did not win. Diamond thought that it was great fun and we kitties wandered in and out all day. You can see me way in the background. Rudy tried to stay on Daddy's lap since he was still trying to suck up all of the sympathy in our three surrounding counties. Puff and Powder went between the deck and the kitchen where Mommy cooked a meatloaf, had a glass of wine and watched movies in between cooking. Mommy said that we look like a bunch of, well, I can't say what she said, but she suggested that we would not mix well with the royal family.

Tattle Tail Tuesday - The Royal Deck

We think your Daddy is very SMART. Mommy would love to have a TV and computer outside. She loves being outdoors. She 'borrows' Daddy's laptop sometimes and takes it outside. ~S, S & C
It is good to let it all hang out... in your own special way. Manbeans seem to take that to an extreme.

Commoners! That's what we are, yep! But, you know, I have a sneaking suspicion that Harry and Will and Charles wish they could sit out on the deck and drink beer and yell at the Cubs, too!

We think your dad had the right idea. The nice days of summer are fading fast and he is smart to take advantage of them that way.
That looks like something our Daddy would do!! We had a TV on our screened porch for a very long time, complete with satelitte hookup, and it drove Mommy nuts!!
We wouldn't worry about hanging out wif da royals...dey seem to haf a lot of fambly prollems. Mom would so take advantage of haffing a balcony wif a t.v. on it. Watching a movie outside would be like heaven to her.
Nice setup for a fall afternoon, but better when your team wins.

Parker, it sounds you all had a great day! Your Daddy had the right idea being outside too, 'specially since he was watching the Cubs and probably did have to yell at them ... hee hee! Our Daddy drinks his beer and yells at the Cardinals and the Rams too when they screw up too! It is a guy thing, that's for sure!

You guys have a great deck, but shouldn't a BBQ be there in place of the TV? Maybe you could have your dad BBQ you some salmon next time and not watch tv?

My mom loved this. It's something she would do for college football. When they are tailgating at the South Carolina home football games, they all sit around outside of the RV watching other football games.
The mom says it would be a great thing for when the kids were here and loud - tv outdoors! Heh, we'd like it too, it would be much more quiet.
We think your dad had the right idea. A lot of beans are now adding outdoor rooms that have TVs included, so your dad is just jumping on the bandwagon.
