I can see why you will miss Kansas City. It looks like a very wonderful place to live. But I think you will be happy in Ohio, and find new things to love.
I can understand why you'll miss Kansas City, especially your neighbourhood and the shelter where your mom volunteers. But you'll find new places and new things to love in your new home.
Wow! Your air over the city is so clean!!! That's great!
Parker, Dorf isn't the beer-bellied hillbilly! It's the he-man yellow net sweater that he has to wear that reminds Maw of what a beer-bellied hillbilly would wear to a family reunion!!! Dorf can't have a beer belly because he doesn't drink beer!
Oh Parker, I am sure you guys will all miss Kansas City, but there will be so much excitement when you get to O-Hi-O. You get to explore your beautiful new home and find lots of interesting places to nap and it will be so nice for you to have your Mummy home every night!
Aaw, moving is furry hard. Yoo'll find lots of new favorites in da new place and turn dat into home too. Besides, yoo'll haf a high up porch to sit on and stairs to play "thundering herd of elefants" and fire places. Fire places, from what we hear, are grate in da winter!
awww Parker and MrsParkersMom and MrParkersDad - we know you will miss KC - but you haf a whole new place to make many more wonderful memories. Mommy said she and daddy felted that way when they left Connecticat.......and Whiskerconsin...........and Phila-la-la-la ('speshully Philly, mommy still wants to go back).
This is all great stuff.... I think moving is one of the most traumatic things we endure in life. When you finally move to Ohio, I think you should all get new toys. I hope the move to Ohio will be a great one. we are sending good vibes. We are with all ofyou in spirit.
Oh Parker, I know you will make a great home here in Ohio. We don't have those things here, but we have different things and different can be really really fun.
Oh Parker, you are so sweet to thinking of your home. But I believe you will make your new home more contentedly. It will be, soon you will make new good neighbors and new stores and good new food~! And you still have us~!
parker, i'm glad you have time to remember and savor what you've loved about your home. even when you're excited about change, it can be hard to leave. there's nothing wrong with that. nothing at all. sad is normal. we both know that.
remember that there is a family in seattle who thinks about you often--with great love--and hopes that the move and all the accompanying activities go as well as any can go!

Parker, then funny thing about home. It actually moves with you. The house might be different, but it still is home.
Yeah, Derby is right. all your stuff will be in your new home. But, I suggest you sniff it all just to be sure.

Not long to go now! Hope the move goes well. I LOVE the look of the stairs in your new place. You'll all be so fit!
:-(
But it will be OK, really. After all, home is where the cat is!
Oh Parker, don't be sad! All the things you love most, family, will be with you, and that is what makes a home!

I live here, so I know I'm biased, but Kansas City truly is a unique and great place. You like many of the same things I like!
But there is no place like home ... and home really is where the cat is. You're going to love Ohio, I'm sure of it.
Wishing you the best with everything.
