A Tuesday Tummy and A Meme!

Here are the rules:

Here's the question -

What three things would you do that you have never done before, if you knew you wouldn't get caught, get in trouble, or suffer any consequences?

I have had a lot of time to think about this, I just sat down, closed my eyes and let my thoughts drift. Here's what came to mind -

1. I would take a trip with Mommy and visit the ocean. She told me that she met some kitties in Oregon who lived near the beach and they would take a stroll down the sandy shore every morning. Doesn't that sound like fun? Sea breeze, the sights and sounds and smells! AND - the whole beach is your litterbox! Yup, I'd definitely go to the beach!

2. I'd make Mommy open a squillion cans of tuna into a huge bowl and I would dive in with no fear of yakking it all back up after stuffing myself stupid!

3. I would be a bird for a day. I'd like to see what all this flying fuss is about. I'd also land near our windows and drive my siblings crazier than they already are!

That was fun! I still have a few more Meme's to do later this week. I have to let them percolate!

'Le Sigh...What's A Girl To Do?

I am at an age where I think about lots of things. I think about what my life is going to be like in O Hi O. I think about when I get to have another treat. I think about the cans of tuna in the cupboard, the toys in my toybox, when I'm going to take my next nap and all of those handsome mancats out there in the blogosphere! Today I have decided to share with you 13 mancats who I think are 'da bomb! Maybe it's time for me to commit to a realtionship with a handsome feline who knows how to treat a nice lady kitty like me. I just don't know! For the record, here are the guys who make my whiskers quiver.
Tripper - no secret here, I have a disturbing attraction to him. He's manic, psychotic, less then truthful, A.D.D., sloppy and harder to nail down than warm jello. But have you seen him? He's a hunka' hunka' tabby with stripes that just won't quit. I get weak in the paws when I see this. There. I said it. Cripes. I have no shame.
Derby is a great guy. He is smart, handsome and knows his way around a suburban household. I love his Fang Shui Fridays. And have you ever looked at a cuter face? Purrrrrrrr!
Dorf at Forty Paws is another tabby that has caught my eye. (My mommy loves him too!) He has a sweet snaggletooth and he's a lap cat with his Paw. What's not to love?
Oscar is one god lookin' orange boy that is as sweet as he is handsome. Now that he is married, I must only gaze from afar. Sigh...
Luxor, well Luxor is so handsome that it almost hurts to look at him. He is nice to his family and he's about the most photogenic kitty on the blogosphere!
Merlin is another tabby with a lot going on! Handsome, a cool big brother to Dobby and very easy on the eyes. He's the whole kitty package!
Pablo has his own fan club! He deserves it too! I dream about what his meow must sound like with a sexy Aussie accent. HooBoy! I get dizzy just thinking about it!
Victor looks like me, so he is very, very, very, very good looking. He spins for treats, tries to get along with his sister and has a great meow! I listen to him on his video over and over again. He's about the sweetest guy on the blogosphere. AND he's a "younger mancat!"
Mr. Hendrix is spoken for, but I still get all squishey when I see his photo. He's a hot lookin' black kitty with an evil alter ego. He and Brandi make a sweet couple! (But he's still smokin'!)
Zeus has a great way with words and I think he has a very nice set of whisker puffs. He makes me laugh, and what girl doesn't find that quite sexy?
Earl Grey - holy cats! Any cat who can play a good game of thundering herd of elephants AND eat plastic and live, now that's a real mancat in my book! Hubba-Hubba Earl!
Here's a twofer - Henry and Clyde. Orange, handsome and cuddle monsters. They really get my heart going pitter patter!

This is NOT a complete list, it is to be continued. I think there are at least another 13 that make me swoon! Even if I stay unattached, these guys all give me sweet dreams. I am lucky to know them. This was a lot of fun. Now it's time for me to take a nap and dream of all of them! And honestly - have you ever met a mancat who ISN"T good looking? I didn't think so!

1. It is a proven fact we can lower blood pressure by our mere presence.
2. We are the ultimate accessory in home decor.
3. We are easier to care for than a houseplant.
4. We are the "soul" of a home.
5. We don't require an owner's manual or an extended warrenty.
6. We ask very little, but we give a lot.
7. We appreciate the simple things and don't crave expensive toys.
8. Cats know that love IS the answer.
9. We don't care if you wear WalMart or Dior, you always look beautiful to us.
10. Name another living thing that can purr away a worry.
11. We pass no judgements on the world, we just want peace.
12. Cats know that a good nap can be a cure-all for everything.
13. We'll never ask you if you've gained weight, got that raise yet or changed the oil in the car.

PeeEss - Hi Mommy! Welcome home! Wanna' snuggle? It's been a sad week and I am ready to cuddle and play with you...and hey, you got any treats in that suitcase? Just wondering...

Mommy here - I'm here for FOUR WHOLE DAYS! Parker & sibs are going to get worn out from the smoochies and snuggles. My heart has been breaking this week for all of our friends who have had such sorrow and sad news. I am going to enjoy the blessings I have in the here and now. I hope you all do the same.

I am honored! I have been nominated for a Thinking Blogger Award by my friends Caesar and Prinnie, Derby, The Meezer Gang and Cats~Goats~Quotes. Being perfectly feline, I do spend a great deal of my waking hours contemplating important issues such as where the primo nap spots are, why I don't have thumbs, how I can build a better mousetrap, why the sky is blue and the grass is green, how to perfect my "Paw of Death" and why no W.M.D.'s were found in Iraq. So you can clearly see why I would be an obvious choice for such an award!

Here are my five blogs that make me think (in no particular order):

1. Wildrun - Susan Darling Greene is one of my personal heros. She and her husband Mark are very devoted humans to cats in New York State. They trap feral cats, rescue abandoned cats and do so much for the homeless feline population! You ought to visit her blog, you will be amazed.
2. The Secondhand Dog - Just go visit, this is a blog written by animals at the Conway Area Humane Society. Bucky the cat was the primary contributer, till HE GOT ADOPTED!
3. My Cat Hates You - I make no apologies here - this site cracks Mommy and me up! We have the desk calendar, we get a daily e-mail and we have the wall calendar. These are some of the funniest photos and captions of kitties you will ever see! There is a blog portion on the site by the guy who runs it, so I say it qualifies!
4. Bad Kitty Cats - I give a lot of credit to Megan and all of the hard work she does to promote kitty adoptions and the plight of homeless kitties. She has a serious situation with her sweet TeaCup cat, he is very sick. Go give her some love! Megan makes me think of my Mommy and her work with shelters and how we can all do more.
5. Skeezix's Scratching Post - Skeezix is like the Godfather of blogging to me. He makes me think about the fun side of a kitties life and to always be nice. I like that in a cat!
