The Rudy Report
The 'rents stay by him and speak to him in soothing voices, that helps ease his stress. But still he barks. I'll tell you, after the first few minutes it can get on a kitties nerves. We try to tell him that it's OK, but he ignores us. Today I am tired and I plan on napping in front of the cold box. The hots have returned with a vengeance! I hope you can stay cool and get some naps in - it's really all that Mondays are good for!

The Rudy Report
It's a good thing we got to go out on the deck, there are big storms coming to O Hi O this morning and everyone knows, a wet cat is an unhappy cat.
Have the best Monday possible kitties, and remember to keep your tail held high and proud!

Today The Floof Goes Poof!
Since Rudy is going to be 11 years old next month he is considered a geriatric kitty and sedation is always a concern. The good news is that Rudy is very healthy and should be fine if he has to be sedated. But we still worry. As much as I don't care for his orange menace pesky ways, I still want him to be OK and come back smelling all sweet and having his mats gone. Mommy won't relax until she hears he's ready to come home.
Please think good thoughts for our big orange creamsicle - life in O Hi O is always exciting with him in the picture!

The Rudy Report
Oh - one more thing, I hear Parker is having a little birthday on Thursday. Big plans are in the making. She'll be celebrating eight years of Formerly Feral fun! And there is a very good reason you should stop by for her party. Mark your calendars kitties and not the furniture! HaHaHaHaHaHa! I crack me up!

You Can Run...

Rudy Hogs My Blog!
My sister Puff is really my mother. She was knocked-up when our Mommy and Daddy got her out of a barn. She gave birth to me and two other kittens. They were adopted to great homes (One is buddies with a Llama!). I was so adorable and cute and orange (mommy has a thing for orange cats) that I got to stay with the family. So I have never been homeless - I know how lucky that makes me.
I would say that I have the floofiest tail in the world. And it's long! When I walk I hold it high in the air. Sometimes if I walk past furniture, you see my tail before you see me! Since I am so good looking I see no need to be groomed and will get quite twitterpated if Mommy tries to comb me. I hiss and try to run away. This is a major point of contention between Mommy and me that usually gets me a trip to the vet for a "poodlebutt" shave. The Furminator and loads of catnip have saved me from that torture this year. I am a major 'nip head.
I am a very, very social boy. I am the guest greeter, the lap sitter, the purr producer, the jump on your chest while you sleep cat and the cat who will try to make humans that say they don't like cats like me! I will be 9 years old on May 13th. I am also the only kitty in the house who really celebrates their birthday on the day they were born. Daddy watched me come into the world. He said he could live his whole life without ever seeing something like that again (but he's glad I am here!). So, there are some random facts about me. I would thank Paaaaahker for letting me use her blog, but I am too rude toward her to do that. She'll be back tomorrow, I think she's off dreaming about some silly Tabby right now.
Have a groovy Saturday!
