  6. We miss summer. Our cat door is open for us all day, but we would rather lie in front of the fire in winter.
Usually we like to go outdoors before we go to bed and we sit in the rain, but then mum tells us off for coming in soaking wet. She has to dry us off with a towel then before she can go to bed.

  7. I know, it sucks.

Shade is by the woodstove until next April.

I still head out daily but my patrols have been shortened drastically.

  8. We got sunshine this weekend, but we know that it's only for a short bit. Decks in summer are the best. I have a deck I can go out on if I promise not to jump off! I love it. Thanks for sharing your summer memories with us.

  14. It IS burry, brrry cold, isn't it? Did you get snow? How close are you to Kent? The English Major has applied to enter the graduate degree program there and I wondered if it has already snowed there.

  19. I think a nice warm fireplace is a good trade-off for a deck during the cold months!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hmm, sunny deck/warm fire, sunny deck/warm fire...it's sort of an equal trade off but not if it's still nice outside.

  21. You must get the humans to install a deck heater and put out some sheepskin fleeces for you. Also an awning would be handy for when it rains.

    There, sorted!

  35. I don't get to go outside, but I also like the summertime! The sun just beams in through my side door.

Sorry I haven't visited lately. Mom has been working late and uses that as an excuse to not help me visit.

  36. But this time of year is good for snuggling!

I tried to leave a comment yesterday but I forgot that the comments no longer play nicely in Firefox and I keep losing them. What I wanted to tell you most of all is I can mail Russell to your mom if she really wants him!
