Formerly Feral Friday - The New O Hi O V.E.T.!

Feral cats don't go to the V.E.T., Formerly feral cats do...
Oh dear, oh my. Kitties, kitties, kitties...do you see what I am on top of? They are files. Of our V.E.T. records. They are on the table because AAAIIIEEE! ALL OF US ARE GOING TO THE NEW O Hi O V.E.T. TODAY!
According to the woman formerly known as Mommy we are all due for our wellness checks. The plan is that we will all get stuffed into our P.T.U.'s this afternoon and, and, and...I just can't think about this anymore! Blood and poop stealing, tooth inspecting and shot getting. There is nothing pretty about this.
Send us good thoughts - I really don't mind the V.E.T., but the rest of my siblings are not as Zen about it as I am. I fear I am in for a very bad day...

  5. My v-e-t is a real nice guy, but I don't like going either. It sounds like a really interesting day! Good luck.

  6. Emergency naps are probably called for. If that extra foot doesn't disappear from my head I might have to visit the V-E-T too *shudder*

  7. Good luck!!!

We don't all go at one time. Socks will go in January by himself and the girls go in July. Your Mommy is very brave to take everyone at once. ~Alasandra & The Cats

  13. ALL of yoo, even Diamond Doggie? It's so good of yoo not to give yoor mommy a hard time...and set a good example fur da others. Sadie and Speedy don't mind so much but Zippy, well, she gets trankwilizers afore she goes. She's really proud of having a red mark on her folder.

  16. At least you're not a "pussy" when it comes to the veterinarian... (so to speak...)

My poor old purrer Coco had to get RUSHED vetwards 999/911 style after being given a chicken's heart and (greedy cow that she was!) growlingly SWALLOWING IT WHOLE to ensure no other cat in the house got a bite!

On this she choked and got partial brain damage...

... the vet did however manage to fish it out with bbq tongues about 10 minutes later (record timing to get to THAT vet, who was in the next village)... I shall never 4get that day

hey I've got AFRICAN PYGMY MICE not to mention MONGOLIAN PYGMY HAMSTERS at mine (http://gledwood2.blogspot.com) ~ main blog today... come by.

I know who YOU are: I'm sure you've been by before... (some months ago...)

  20. Ack! No V-E-T! Is your mom taking you guys all by herself? Mama had to take all of us by herself a couple of weeks ago. She vowed to never do that again. hee hee

I hope your Friday gets better!

    Love,
    Tazo

  22. Uh oh. This is not a good day for you, Parker. Good luck at the vet. Actually I think the woman you used to call Mommy may need wishes for good luck more than you do. All 4 of you are going at once :-0 She's a brave woman.

  23. I'm sending you good thoughts - and I hope your new vet is very kind and thoughtful (and smart, too)!

  24. I will purrr forrr you, but if they want to steal yourrr poop so badly--why not just give it to them frrreely. Then I would make surrre you have extrrra saved up at home so next time you can just scoop the poop and send it in the crrrate instead of you!

    Purrrs,

  31. I hope everything went well, Parker....Our new vet is for cats only so no barking dogs.......the cost is cheaper 'cause of low overhead only dealing with cats,(our vet said that) and there are 4 roamin' house kitties there all gingers! I may have to go soon since I peed on the dogs bed twice, but mommy now knows how to feel my tummy for a blockage, she thinks I may have an infection so I may need meds again. Funny how so many beans call the carriers..PTU's...mommy never heard this before using the internet!Have a great weekend, Parker=^Y^=Tinker

  32. the VET trip?! All of yous! Oh my gosh thats just awful!

An after these past few va-ca-shuns, i do not think i will be as willing to get in the carrier either...

    Those beans crossed the lines...

    FIGHT FOR YOUR WAY OUT!
