Mommy has been making this recipe for years and she loves it because it is easy and quick and beans really seem to enjoy it. She made 30 pounds of it this weekend for the big party next weekend. Each batch makes 3 pounds. Does anyone else see the irony in a women with Diabetes making so much of something she can't eat?
Formerly Feral Fudge
3/4 Cup Butter (1 1/2 Sticks)
3 Cups Baker's Sugar (don't use regular sugar!)
2/3's Cup Evaporated Milk
12 Ounces of Chocolate Chips
1 Jar (7 ounces) Marshmallow Creme
1 tsp. Vanilla
Microwave butter in a 4 Quart microwavable bowl or casserole dish on high until the butter is melted (about 1 minute).
Add sugar and milk, mix well.
Microwave on high for 5 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes, scrape bowl & mix well.
Microwave on high for 5 and a 1/2 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes.Gradually stir in chips until melted.Add remaining ingredients, mix well. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Cool at room temperature. Cut into 1 inch squares and enjoy!Mommy says it keeps in the fridge for 2 weeks and if you want to add nuts or anything else like catnip - go ahead! She leaves the nuts out 'cause Daddy doesn't like them. She leaves the catnip out cause we don't like to eat fudge with our catnip!
Daddy helped her cut them into pieces and place them into goody bags! Each bean can take a bag home to enjoy after the party.
Rudy assisted by sitting in the kitchen window looking cute.

That looks very, very delicious! And I like your idea of putting them in goodie bags for the guests to take home.
Mom says thank you very much. She says she will make this fudge to bring to her coworkers at her day hunting gig when Christymas comes!
Mom says yum!!!!!!!!!!!
Goodie bags are smart!! Having that much fudge is not! Mom has no willpower!!!! Hahahahaha!!
Rudy was good to snoopervise too :)

Oh, that sounds good - for mom bean - she has to make food for a tea and Christymas House Tour....fudge is always a hit she says. She is guessing the bakers sugar is powdered sugar?

That looks yummys but Mommy bean woulds get sick she saids if she trieds it. I think the bean kids would gobbles it up though! She's goings to try and makes some for thems.
Many thanks. Mom will look for that super fine sugar. Too bad your mom can't eat the fudge she makes - there is no justice sometimes! Our granbean and auntybean can't have any either.

We bet Rudy is a good helper & snoopervisor!

Mum says that recipe sounds good, but she would eat it all. She is a chocoholic!
The Lady said that I probably would not like fudge, but that she would let me try it if she makes this recipe.
We're more into catnip an treats, but The Big Thing printed yer recipe out to try. He wants to MAKE chrismus prezzies this year...
Oh, Mommy thinks that fudge looks delicious! She can't eat it cause she is diabetic too!
Thanks for visiting our blog.
That fudge sounds great! And we think Momma could even make it since she's a pro at microwaving. hee hee Momma says she looked up bakers sugar and it sounds like the perfect solution to grainy fudge. She hates grainy fudge. And Gramma's fudge is always grainy. But please don't tell Gramma we said that. :)
Love,
Tazo
Sounds like a tasty treat, if you're a human. Personally, as a cat I'm partial to Temptations and treats like that. To each his own, I guess.
ooooh we like butter a lot. a whole lot. yum yum yum Lucky Rudy, he gets to snoopervise
Dat reminds owr Mom of when her Grandma made lots of fudge fur da holidays. Her Grandma wuz diabetic too! Dat's a great idea to hand dem out to efurryone to take home. Fanks for da recipe. We will help to snoopervise making dem for our bean cuzins to take home.
My people had a party last weekend... not a big big party like your family seems to be planning, though. I'll blog about it soon. I HATE PARTIES!!! I went into self-imposed exile in the guest room for the whole afternoon/evening.
Kate thinks that she might just try out your mum's FFFudge recipe... it's so nice of your mum to make so much of something that she can't even eat herself! Personally, I think that fudge is overrated. Give me chicken anyday!
Mommy can't make dat cuz daddy would eat it even if she told him NO many times. We all know dat beans can't cook wifout at least one cat snoopervising!
May I blog this recipe on my recipe blog? No need to visit me, I have clicked "follow comments" here. thank you!
