(Stupid) Tiara Tuesday Tale

The Device of Torture

I guess it must have been the rain. The humans were inside a lot, which was a good thing for the most part. We got loved on, played with, brushed, fed treats, had a camera in our face a lot and sat in Mommy's lap while it rained so much that we started thinking ark.
Then the unthinkable happened. Kitty clothing. With a nod of respect to Skeezix, Mao, Daisy and every other kitty who does not mind wearing clothes - we just don't roll like that. Mommy found a teeny-tiny tiara at a jewelry sale in O Hi O and brought it home to see how we would look in it.


So, how did we look? See what you think. First is our little orange Prince Rudy for your viewing pleasure -

Next is me - Perfectly Parker. I am perfect. I do not require a tiara.

Where are Puff and Powder you may ask? Well little Powder was laughing her tail off on the window sill. (Look behind me to see her rotten little self). Puff hid in the basement. Mommy is very, very lucky that she didn't get a matching pair of these!

    You look very very majestic in your fabulous tiaras. But if you don't like it, I think it's OK not to wear it. But you had better put the tiara somewhere safe, because it looks very very valuable!

    Oh Parker, I think you look beautiful wearing that tiara, but of course, you also look beautiful just the way you are. If you don't like the tiara, then you shouldn't have to wear it. But it does look lovely on you!

    YOU looked gorjuss in that tiara...but I understand how you feel. Mom put some bunny ears on me at Easter and I ran through the house like my but* was on fire, then when I got those ears off, I put the bitey on them. Mom said no more stuff like that on me.

    You look beautiful! So gorgeous, so majestic, so...oh who am I kidding, pissed off! Your Mommy meant well and she was trying to add a little UMPH to your day. But make sure you hide it well! I would suggest the bottom of the ocean (your basement).

    I think that's horrible! I used to wear clothes for a while, but I decided it really wasn't me.

    Oh no, kitties should never wear any sort of Big Thing stuff. No not at all! We don't even wear collars... (We have some sort of chip in us, but that doesn't count - you can't see it).

    My oh my, do you look glamorous in your tiaras! But you don't look like you like it very much. That's okay, though. You certainly don't need tiaras to be the glamorous kitties you are.

    Mom could put a tiara on me, but I'm the only one of the Ballicai who'd let her. I bet my sister Brainball would look downright surly in a tiara (she'd be much more at home in combat boots and a tattoo)!
