We do exactly the same when it cools down. There has also been lots of smackpaw fights because of the excess energy round here.

ReplyDeleteWe're glad you're back again, too, Rudy. And we're the same, when it's so hot we don't feel like doing anything. We had a couple of cooler days with no humidity--a huge relief--but we're back to the sticky weather again. Save your strength for fall and for zooming around then. :-)

Hi Rudy!! It is hot here in TX, too!! 101 the other day!! We like to hide under the bed where it is dark and cooler!! We don't understand why Mom & Dad don't like the playing when it dark and they are trying to sleep!!

ReplyDeleteYup, our mom gets excited about us running over her in bed at 3 am too...she shouts our names and cheers us on yelling "get off da bed!" to encourage us to jump down, run around and jump up again!
ReplyDeleteSince I am confined indoors and the air conditioner runs when mommie gets the hots, I never really experience the hots. Mommie is sad that the hots are coming on strong this week and she took this week off. She wanted to work in the yard and go for walks, but I guess she will have to hang out with me instead.

The hots are here too. We nap lots, sit in front the the blowy things with cool air.
ReplyDeleteWe know exactly what you're talking about, Rudy!! We have to deal with the hots ALL day - it's like a bazillion degrees in the house - so we lay around & sleep. Then when our Mom comes home & turns down the air, it takes a little while for us to come around (we're SO mistreated) so by about 11p-12a, we're all alert & ready to play!!!
