Oh Parker, we know what you mean! Our fireplace is on less and less these days...and we're gonna miss it too! But we can't wait for warm weather and open windows!!
We know what you mean! Our house is passive solar and the sun has been shining now for a awhile so we haven't had a fire in about five days! The sun is scrumptious but once it goes down we think the fire should be lit pronto!
We don't have one, but we bet it's great in the cold weather. Don't worry, spring and summer will pass far too quickly and you'll have your fireplace on again soon enough. (Our human says UGH! to that thought!)
We haven't had our fireplace on all year...gas is too expensive. My next house is going to have a wood burning fireplace because that looks like a great place for napping!
What a great picture of you in your ham-mick. Too bad your fireplace has to be turned off but we are looking forward to the warm weather. Have a great day.
But like you said...open windows, warm breezes, BRING IT ON! We will miss our woodstove too, but we'll take warm weather anyday over this cold crap! And Mom and Dad are sick and tired of the DUST!
You guys look so adorable in the picture. We don't have a fireplace, but we are glad that Spring is finally coming :). My kitties usually sleep in their beds. Jackie and Shadow always nap together and Flip wants his own space, but occasionally he sleeps with Shadow. :) I am always super thrilled if I see them napping together. Have a wonderful day!
Thats too bad about the fireplace, but open windows are good too. We had ours get opened today. The deck door was opened briefly, but Iza decided ta claw on the screen, so it got closed fast!
We will miss ours too. It was lit at the end of October when the Beans came back from Hawaii, and has been alight ever since. It will have to get a lot warmer before mum lets it out.
Oooooooooo, that fire looks so cozy!!!! All that heat, heehee Make sure you have lots of the outdoor heat before that one gets turned off ;) Purrs Mickey,Georgia & Tillie
Our fireplace is what we will miss about our house in the Pecan Orchard most of all, Parker! The Swamp has No Fireplace!
ReplyDeleteOh yes! A lufferly warm fireplace! And the new wall color is stupendiousous!! Lufferly cats upon your mantle too!

ReplyDeleteYou two sure look cozy if not snuggly. So you'll trade the fireplace for warm sunbeams. It's all good!
